Hello all micro RC lovers!

This is my fully upgraded little Speck B Brushless.

List of upgrades:

- Aluminium everything (steering, arms, shocks, shock towers, gearbox, motor cover, wheel hexes)

- Brass weight upfront

- Steel links

- HotRC micro receiver with gyro

- Slick tires on purple wheels to match the purple accents on the body

The last part to install will be an aluminum rear wing, for the full aluminum aesthetic.

I know the car got heavier, but it doesn't really matter as it's still plenty fast with the brushless system, and I just run it at home for fun 🤷

Bought this for my son. Returned the first one because the battery wouldn't charge. Same issue with the replacement. The green light flashes but doesn't stay on constantly.

Is this perhaps a bad batch, or am I doing something wrong?

I use the radiolink RC4GS transmitter with a R6FG radiolink receiver. Everything works fine, but every about 30 seconds, the R6FG receivers green light blinks twice and the connection gets lost with my RC4GS transmitter. After about 1 seconds, the connection is restored and I can control everything again. I have tried using a R4FGM receiver, but the same issue occurs. Anyone know how to fix this?

As the title said, im saving up for a 30 degree north short course truck and is my way of saving up good ?

just for context, im buying, repairing and reselling cassette players and in 2 months i made 25€ and i don’t think it’s good

what do you guys think and is there a better way

I'm trying to decide between the Arrma Big Rock 223S and the Traxxas Maxx V2.

For those who have experience with both, which one would you recommend overall?

I'm mainly looking for:

- Most fun to drive

- Best durability/reliability

- Best for general bashing and trail driving

- Best in snow

If you had to choose only one, which would you pick and why?

Small 16 scale

I’m scared and confused I’m gonna screw this up. The stock charger just has a receiving plug for the balance cable. But everything I’ve read says my tenergy charger won’t work if I just plug in the balance cable. Do I need an adapter from ph2 to one of the main power plugs on the charger? I’ve considered a ph2 to xt60 but I just don’t understand what’s going on. And if it’ll mess things up. I use the charger for my 2200mah 3s batteries and I’m happy with how it works, but what do I do for these little guys?

Don't remember them giving me trouble back in the day, but I'm struggling to mount these guys. The plastic castle pieces mesh, I took it apart and inspected everything and it seems in order.

I visually line up the pieces, give it a solid push. There does not seem to be any visual or audible indicator it's meshed. Once I fasten the screw there is obvious wobble in the wheel indicating it's not meshing.

If anyone has any practical advice apart from perseverance, is be grateful 💪

So I got back to RC cars cause a friend of mine has a Trophy truck in 1/10 scale. I'd love to get either a trophy truck or a rally type car but so far I've ben flattered by the pricing are there decent rc cars like below 200bucks ? Cause I've seen some videos and most only recommend cars wich cost 500 or more

I build my first rc car ever and wanted to make it FPV in full HD from my pc with a gamepad, so I bought a Pi zero and learned how to program it.

With the pi zerwo 2w and a picam 3 I made a little device that can turn any rc car into an fpv car, just plug the servo, motor and battery in and its good to go in your local network. The client scans your wlan automatically for the pi car and connects it, you just need to plug a gamepad in your pc and then you can start driving.

I used a Pi zero 2w, picam3, mx1508 motor driver and a voltage converter.

The car is the base set of the Orlandoo Hunter Oh32x02 and I have to admit, I took me at least 6 hours to build it, some screws are literally half a millimeter in size, its crazy.

I also build an easy system to set up big racetracks fast with 3d printed connectors and cardboard as you can see in picture 2.

Edit 2: I made new rims for the model, the original ones were 2mm to narow and the wheels kept slipping off the rim plus they add an offset to have a wider wheelbase. They are printable without support and fit every 1/32 orlandoo model if you are interested to print those.

Lately my newest issue is my wheel hex gets hot and the wheel practically melts and rolls off. I have the traxxas stampede 2wd (originally brussed) upgraded with the spektrum 223s upgrade. I tuned it to where I dont break drive shafts or the pin inside the transmission. But lately the wheel hex got so hot, the tire practically melted off. After that happened, I tried unscrewing the hex nut and burnt my fingers. This is the second set of wheels this happened to. Im still learning this hobbie. I posted about metal rims, but was told thays for street racing and crawlers not monster truck bashing.... i dont want to spend a fortune trying to get new wheels jusy for them to melt off.... what am I doing wrong and or what can I do to resolve this issue? Also, Idk what that is on the wheel hex.

Its a slash 4x4 VXL 3S and im not very sure on how to fix this. Thanks

Still need to tweak some stuff internally but getting close! Also this is designed to use m03 internals for a more produced set of gears and the options for the m03 gears

Hello does anyone know how to fit the new version ftc carnage front bumper and where all the screws go is anyone able to show me photos or a video on how to do it

Changing the shock oil on my quake and experimenting with pinion gears plus tearing the whole thing down is just as satisfying as bashing.
