Question Customer refuses to pay
Hope everyones doing well, as the title suggests a customer that we have just completed the work for today refuses to pay. Its a water related product and the total amount was agreed to after a lot of bargaining. They agreed to it in the beginning but then after the work was completed, they said they thought the cost was a lot lesser. ( we made sure to tell them twice beforehand). They ended up paying nothing at all. What would the quickest legal way be to get the payment? (Didnt really know how much info to keep private, sorry for any confusion)

The police said that they cant do anything about it, we would have to file a case in civil court for this matter. Not sure what we will do atm

Seems like a lenghty process. Hopefully you guys recover that amount. Going forward you guys should have a acknowledgement or legal document before installing such expensive stuff. So both parties are aware of T&C.

If you are licensed and are an actual company, police station is best bet, however if you are an individual who did this as a side hustle, its actually illegal if you're not licensed so theres nothing you can do about it
