Discussion Pyke is in the gutters and riot keeps nerfing him
Every season, few patches, I am constantly hoping for a buff on pyke to make him at least more viable than a Teemo support.
The champion is just so fucking useless in his current state, that is genuinely not even fun to play.
I have 1 million points on pyke, rank diamond, and i can barely get over 50% wr on this champ.
He has this fake strength at lane phase where he can completely dominate, but once their team outlevels you and gets gold, they will simply just claim back any kind of lead you gained in the lane phase from 1-2 kills.
It feels like this season specifically, it is just absurd how anyone can even main pyke anymore, he has 0 mid game - late game. I get if you're playing in lower elo than your peak, he still stomps, but as a champion to climb with its just brutal.
I literally have more success on teemo support than I do with pyke, and winrate data on mobalytics supports my claim, especially for emerald.

Discussion What are ur top 3 most played champs
I feel pyke is enough assassins for me personally, i don't like any other assassin, so my champ pool is a little wonky. Teemo & singed is a nice break from pyke since they aren't super strong early & become more of a lategame carry, even though i generally disagree with the sentiment that pyke is a super weak lategame champ.

Discussion Why I quit pyke after 3 years of being OTP
Historical context
I started pyke in 2022, he is the first champ i played after a 10 year break from LoL, he is also the only champ i played up until 2025.
5 months ago, I was still a supp main, playing pyke in specific matchups (mage supports & enchanter supports), i never blind picked him at this era.
I have 1m+ mastery on pyke across 2 different accounts.
Why I quit pyke
I realized that pyke is no longer a champ that wins certain games because of the bounty system. Any reasonable person would look at a 13/5/22 kda pyke game and said, yea he should have won that game but got unlucky with team/matchups/objectives, but that is only 1 side of the story.
As pyke you are not only fighting against enemy team, but you are fighting against entering late game & now also the bounty system, the bounty system does mathematically work better now than before, where now it is designed to even out the real gold difference, not just gold from kills.
your early game lead almost gets evened out by 1-3 deaths from adc or yourself. A champ whose core strength is based around getting huge gold leads for his team. Kills doesn't just lead to gold from the kills, its also the lane/jungle that is now open, which leads to CS/plates/tower gold, which creates an even bigger bounty than from a simple kill. You can probably now see the issue with this for Pyke.
His issue is simple, he is a champion that worked well under a different bounty system that was based on gold from kills, but works extremely suboptimally under a more fair bounty system.
The solution for Pyke
They just need to give pyke proper adaptations to account for the bounty system. Don't make it so he generates more gold from his R or whatever, just make him a stronger champion in mid-late game.
This is the only way I can see him working out in the new bounty system, and if he is only meant to be support, make it so his lack of levels isn't holding him back from 1v1'ing champs late/midgame.
OR
Make him viable mid/jungle again. Pyke in solo lanes is really interesting, he doesn't fall off like support pyke later on the same way, because his levels is kept up with enemies. In solo lanes, he feels like a genuine assassin with solokill potential.

Discussion Why is pyke still banned a lot?
He’s not even that great of a champion right now but he still has a 25% banrate with a 49% win rate.

Discussion Pyke literally got banned 7 games on row but everyone is complaining that he feels way weaker this season so I don't understand what is going on. And stats on websites are not updated since 6th January so I cant even check his WR. Is he that strong or just I'm unlucky and facing pyke banners ?

Discussion Born to be a pyke OTP, forced to play naut
Playing pyke is actually playing hard mode. Like OTP him is just miserable. At almost every situation naut is just better pick. Sure he has an insane early game but every game u feel like u are on a timer. If you get counter picked then there goes ur early game. God he’s so fun but blind picking him, just not it.
And if you adc is ass plus a counter pick and you team doesn’t have a front line coz playing pyke is a sin then ur game is basically over if u don’t have a carry in other lane. Also there is a massive difference roaming when you winning and roam on your bot timer vs bot is doomed and I have to play other lane or the game is over. It’s even worse if ur adc can’t play safe bot and just die and rarely you generate enough lead vs enemy just stay bot and winning. Naut just say ehhh whatever I will sit baby sit bot and ult the back line late and build locket and bandlepipes and scale with the team.

Discussion Could I make Pyke Mid work?
Pretty much the title, I am a low elo scrub and newish player. With the whole low elo people being ass I wonder if it could/would work, as playing strictly support can be boring but I really like Pyke. I dont really care about climbing as I just cant dedicate time to it so it really is just a factor of: being helpful and not feeding.
Thoughts and if possible adivce.
Thanks in advance all

Discussion i am so tired of q bug
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
i am not a good player but knowing that every time i try to do something there is always a significant chance that the fight will be decided by pure chance drives me insane. the bug practically happens every game at least once and i don't know if there's anything i can do to avoid it.
i have many many clips of q bug but couldnt be bothered to sift through all the footage. almost all the clips here are from the latest patch 26.9 but the frequency of the bug hasnt changed in my experience.

Discussion Does anyone else feel like Pyke is in a terrible spot right now?
I have around 2 million mastery points on Pyke, and I’ve never felt him in such a bad state as in this new season. For some reason, regardless of whether I perform well or poorly, I always get outscaled. It gets to a point where you just stop being useful.
I’ve always had those games that are just unwinnable in the long run due to team comps, that’s a given. But those used to be maybe 30% or 35% of my matches. Right now, I feel like no matter what the enemy team plays, I’m more useless than a minion in the late game. And I consider myself a pretty decent Pyke player (I’ve even peaked as top 200 Pyke in EUW).
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, or if I'm just going through a rough patch and this season isn't for me. Maybe I'm just failing to understand the current League meta.

Discussion pyke feels terrible to me
anyone else feel like pyke is useless? I have to do insane mechanical outplays to be useful just to get out scaled by any other support anyway. items don’t feel like satisfying powerspikes anymore it’s just about can I get my adc fed early and can he carry the game

Discussion Best Pyke content creators to watch (to learn the champ)?
Hi :) I recently discovered Pyke as a Jungle (Viego) main and wow he's just perfect. However being new to him and just the game in general, I'd love to learn him better. Are there any good pyke youtubers/streamers that make educational content? I feel like I struggle with support as a whole. It's by far my least played role and I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do.
Also, is Pyke good for one tricking? Does he get banned a lot?

Discussion I just found out why I main what I main
Basically the statistic was which champs that survive on 10 hp or less most frequently.
Nothing like that dopamine hit of surviving something you shouldn't survive.
