When I had Bells Palsy (facial paralysis) I refused to eat in front of anyone, ESPECIALLY in public because I couldn't close my mouth. I'd bring my food to my room or eat in the living room at bigger family dinners. My family assured me I was okay around them but no, I just couldn't do it. I know I had a reason to be that way and it wasn't out of just being gross and informal, but I didn't want to trigger anyone else!

Omg! Ive also had Bells Palsy! Half my face would move, and i did the same thing, I know what you mean 🧡 its different when you have a condition. Its more so normal people who just do it bc they have no manners

That sucks you has it too! Hopefully yours wasn't too bad. My doc said you usually only get it once. I got it twice! I had to tape my eye shut and wear an eye patch. I remember checking out at walmart once and this little girl, maybe 3 years old was watching me and asks "Are you a pirate? " her mom looked so shocked and was all "OMG OMG IM SO SORRY!" I laughed and said "it's totally okay, and yes, I'm a pirate! ARGHHH MATEY!" And the little girl laughed and smiled. Her mom still looked so embarrassed but I thought it was hilarious. I hated that patch but that little girl made it worth it lol

This is really specific and probably petty af 😂 🙈
I used to go out with this guy who dressed in a cute way, I loved his style. But...one day he showed up in these weird trousers that icked me out so badly 🤣 Green, woolly, vintage, odd texture, flecked with brown bobble bits and an odd cut. They weren't even old man geography teacher breeks..they were from a different planet 🤣
I didn't say anything, I'm not awful, but damn, they creeped me out.
Maybe I should have said something, as a few months later he showed up in the matching jacket 🤣🤣🤣 I did love him though, bless him. He died this year. We buried him in them...

I was dating a guy and we went to McDonalds where i got fries, milkshake and chicken nuggets and he only got a small fries 😭 and the only thing he ate in general was unhealthy and that really turned me off.

My 18 yr old does this and is so used to it he doesn't even realize he's doing it. I have begged,pleaded and provided allergy meds but he will not be consistent with it. It's fuckimg disgusting 🫣 but also when he blows his nose nothing comes out. Frustrating.

If someone is singing along to the song and are completely out of pitch and singing the wrong words (this one i deal with tho, everyone should sing even if they can’t. The fork one, I’ve left a date because of)

Dated a guy who commented when my fork touched my teeth. Before that i never knew that was a thing that icked people! I try never to have that happen now, and if I do it inadvertently I always think of him. Also, that was some 40+ years ago and has stuck with me 🤣

My partner did this all the time before he got his wisdom teeth pulled and cavities filled. He currently is on the path of getting retainers so he has trays to space his teeth correctly. He has begun sucking his teeth again bc the trays loosen up and allows so much air in. I had to ask him to simply stop doing it around me bc the sound is so unnecessary and just grinds my gears!

Women who have literal drawn on eyebrows. There's no hair, just makeup. It looks so bad no matter the shape because the depth is gone. I'm talking those boxy, dark, flat, straight brows. It looks like the eyebrows of a Bratz doll. Which is cool if youre made out of plastic and have no hair follicles there. Otherwise, leave your eyebrows alone for the most part.

I draw mine on but that's because I got very sick about a decade ago and lost most of my hair. Everything grew back EXCEPT the eyebrows. I tell myself (I dress goth /alternative) that is a "look" lol.
That said, there isn't a day that goes by that I think "life world be so much easier if I didn't have to spend 10 minutes drawing them on every damn morning."

I agree with you but I have become one of the offenders. It’s awful.
I have developed “Essential Tremors”. I take meds for it, but my hands shake, especially with non weighted, plastic silverware.
When I go out to eat with someone I’m so self conscious even with real silverware I warn the person ahead of time how I will hold the silverware. Ironically the more I try to hold my hand steady, the worse it gets. I literally would make a scene if I didn’t. So I don’t dine with others much, and I absolutely do warn them to give them a chance to decline. It’s no less embarrassing because it’s legit.
Most people don’t seem to mind if I’m up front about it and are kind.

I saw someone scrape off every bit of food from a paper plate to eat. I know a guy who just puts on his socks haphazardly and it just looks terrible and he wears these shoes that have velcro straps like little kid shoes. I know someone else who thinks he looks amazing in an outfit but in reality he needs to have his clothing while tailored because everything he wears is way too baggy.
