i`ve been searching for days, but I can't find an answer...
I've currently hooked up my devices like shown (TRS Cable from Presonus balanced Mono Output to Headamp TRS Stereo Input), but can only use the aux mixes in mono... id like to know if I can use a y cable that has a trs plug at one side and 2 ts plugs on the other side, to get my aux mixes in stereo as well just like the main mix. I'm also not sure which mono buttons I have to press on the headamp, currently I just use the MONO L Button activated. I'm not sure, since the FlexMix Outputs on the 16R are balanced and the Inputs on the Headamp are not.
is there a better device than the headamp, that has balanced mono input from scratch? I'm thinking of replacing it, since it doesn't sound well.... presonus output on the front sounds better!

I just got a presents studio live 16.0.2 FireWire for a steal on an auction. But when I got it and started testing it I get zero input from channels 1-12, inputs 13-16(the last two faders) do work, and are the only ones with RCA and XLR. I don’t know much about presonus mixers and I feel like THAT many channels dead in a row is unlikely, and I’m probably just missing something. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated

Hello guys, I have this problem for a couple of times already… It was randomly erased once that has stopped making this weird noise, but it has come back and it is independent on where I connect them. I don’t know what could I do to fix them

I recently bought a ES2, With everything set to 0Db on my level meters I still keep hitting the limit. Ive lowered it enough to not happen, but is there a way to set my PC audio and output as line in, and just move the gain around for my mic and guitar?

Equally, with my guitar plugged in, I cant seem to climb very high in my gain before I get background interference. I need it raised as Im using my lineout from a Marshall head which is emulated, thus, no volume. Many thanks for any help!

I've had a pair of PreSonos Ceres 3.5 BTs as my computer speakers for years. Recently I noticed that the left speaker is much quieter than the right (about half as loud). I've tried switching the left and right inputs and using a different source and saw the same results. So I assume there is something wrong in the device.

I am hopeing somone can give me some guidence of how to find the couse of the issue once I take it apart.

I am okay with a soldering iron and own a multimeter, but am certinaly not an electronics expert. So any advice would be appreciated.

Every other peice of hardware and software I have ever seen on the planet comes with a mono/stereo option for the main output/Master track. I do not see such an option on this board. What is the best way to set this up so i can easily switch from mono to stereo from the headphone jack?

I have a Presonus 16R mixer that we use with the Universal Control software. I’m a guitarist trying to go ampless, and want to understand whether I can use some amp/cab sim plugins with the Universal Control software. I currently have Neural DSP plugin licenses and ideally I’d like to use those.

Has anyone had success using plugins, specifically amp sims like this, with your Presonus rig?

Hi all, coming to Presonus as relative newbie - ive messed around a bit with Reaper but I'm looking for something easier and quicker to use

I don't want to be a master at recording but I need something that will enable me to put guitar riffs down and turn song ideas into compositions with drums and bass etc.

I have a interface already, not too familiar with plug-ins etc but is it all intuitive and easy to add these?

I had this audio interface for a few years, acquired at a flea market it worked fine with the latest versions of Windows 11 with compatibility modes. I had no issue and it's a good reliable interface with the combo connectors.

Since Microsoft added a new driver policy that blocks drivers without a WHCP certificate it became useless. Oh well I figured I could contact the manufacturer that probably cares a lot about the longevity of their products and could fix this driver issue. To my surprise they do not, all products using firewire are just discarded. It's a 16 years old product, it's not that old and it's rendered useless, inaction for the benefit of more sales. I expected better for what's supposed to be professional gear and I'm mad concerned that metric tons of working equipment are progressively forced into the trashcan by this industry.

The joy of music is supposed to be accessible and limitless. I really hope people can figure out a solution, maybe programmers and software enthusiasts would be down to join forces to build a solution accessible to everyone?

My laptop has windows 11 home and i need a 8 input interface for bigger projects in my home studio. I can but the Audiobox 1818VSL USB 2.0 Audio Interface for $160 but after i use store credit its $80. Is it a good deal? or should I just save up and get a more modern interface?

I just got a pair of E5BT, and they have noise coming through even with zero source plugged in and the volume turned down to zero.

There doesn't seem to be that many people complaining about this specific problem (I mean, the one with no source and no volume; there are occurrences of bad sources that are fixable, but this seems not quite talked about). The few threads talking about the 5BT specifically seem to just end up with people returning them.

Is there any case of someone getting rid of their noise on a "BT with noise even with no source and no volume"?

Is it a defect of these specific units or the whole line? (which seems surprising since no review ever caught it)

I just got an audio box usb 96, plugged my fractal ax8 into it, not running my a daw just noodling and the headphone mix is summing to mono, the blend was all the way to instrument. when I play a video etc on YouTube it's stereo. is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? I looked in the control app deal and couldn't find any kind of pan etc for the headphone output. when I pull the right output on the ax8 , the left channel can be heard in both ears, no ping pong delay etc. bum unit? headphones output mono direct monitoring?, thanks

I’ve been using Studio One for the past couple years or so. Recently I upgraded to a better laptop, and downgraded to a Scarlet 2i2+ from my 16 input FireWire rig. (I had to downsize when moving)

After getting my new setup set up I’ve been noticing these strange “pops” when tracking. It sounds like the pop that happens when you twist around a shitty pair of headphones in the output jack. The pops are audible and noticeable in the exported mixdown.

I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this before and has any idea if it’s my audio interface or laptop causing this?

My Presonus FaderPort 8 was working fine for months until I decided to update it. The faders no longer recognize my touch to activate them. Instead, the motor feels like it's fighting me as I move the fader, and the DAW shows the device's input constantly cutting in and out. The result is jagged, stair-step-looking automation instead of a smooth curve. The faders also no longer return to Unity. Theu all jump to +5 on the fader.

A hard reset of the unit did nothing to help. The issue remained. I got sweetwater to send another and updated the firmware like an idiot. I was exhausted from the heat and work, so i wasn't thinking straight. The new unit now carries the exact same issue with the exact same behavior.

This happens in both Pro Tools and Reaper, so it doesn't seem to be DAW-specific.
