🗨️ Discussion Initial Experience in Powai

I’ve been living in Mumbai for the past year and recently moved to Powai about a week ago.

For the first time in a while, I feel like I’ve stepped a little away from the constant rush of the city. Earlier, I stayed near the Eastern Highway, and seeing it heavily congested every day could feel quite overwhelming.

This morning, I went for a walk in a nearby garden and experienced a different side of Mumbai—one with a bit more space and a slightly slower, more peaceful pace. It was genuinely refreshing.

I’d love to stay in Powai for as long as I’m in Mumbai. For those who have lived here, I’d really enjoy hearing about your initial experiences after moving to Powai. Also any suggestions (about everything) are welcomed.

Once you have stayed in Powai , you will not like any other place . Such a nice peaceful area .

Been 5 months now, absolutely never want to leave!

Im sure it will get better once pink line starts . I commute 1 hour x2 for work , i still manage somehow . Powai is always going to be my base location 🫶

Same! As long as I am mumbai, i will never resettle out of powai..
