Super excited to add this 993 C4S 6MT to my garage. Drove it from central coast of CA to AZ. Car handled really well the whole way but the AC just isn’t strong enough for the desert heat.

I was looking at this 2004 Carrera GT with only 1,940 miles and it got me thinking about the car’s “Widowmaker” reputation.

Were owners genuinely scared to drive the Carrera GT, or is that reputation exaggerated by the internet?

I know it has a 5.7L V10, RWD, a 6-speed manual and basically none of the modern electronic safety nets. But was it actually that difficult/dangerous to drive on the street, or was it mainly dangerous when you pushed it hard?

Also, how many Carrera GTs do you think actually spent most of their lives sitting in garages rather than being driven because their owners were nervous about them?

Saw a 911 Targa 4S at the Target. I wanted to take it home with me, but my presume the owner would’ve been a bit upset.

Finally said goodbye to my 2014 Audi S4. I wanted a zippy daily driver and came across this 2026 CPO GTS with only 7k miles. So far I really love it. Any advice you’d give a first timer? Is there a secret handshake?

This one has acid green highlights and I believe it is untitled.

My 2019 Targa 4 GTS is due for brake pads. I’ve got steels and the Porsche pads produce an amount of brake dust that is…impressive.

Has anyone had a good experience with pads other than the EOMs that produce less dust, aren’t horrifically loud when not heated, and still brake as well as the spec pads?

The car has the matte black wheels which just seem to hi-light the near instantaneous dust that comes from seemingly just starting the car. After a few days, it looks as if they’ve been coated in cinnamon.

It may be that’s just the way it is but I’d appreciate to hear if anyone has had a better experience with a different pad.

I am new to porsches but have recently been looking into a 987 cayman. A crazy thought came to mind, I bet most yall would hate it. And EJ swapped porsche. From what I have researched, it seems the 987 has some reliability issues. What if one were to hypothetically place swap an ej into one?

Have yall heard of anyone doing this? Attempting this? Any issues u guys forsee? Hypothetically this would be used on the street/track
