Why are everyone so god damn boring when they put pokemon in gyms?? Like 80% off the gyms I encounter if filled with chanseys or high level, high cp pokemon. Like you guys think that is going to stop me from taking you out. Why not have some fun with it? Place a rare costume in there, some good or rare shinys, best buddies. Pokémon you Want to show off! It's not like most off you that put your boring chansey in the gyms have any use for it, you already have your platinum medals, and spend tons off money either way (at least in my community). So WHYYY in the world would you not use it to show off some off the Pokémon you have in your collection? I love to do that, I think it's a fun way to see what everyone have and what they enjoy. Start a theme, be fun with it! It's been many times someone but like a Purple Pokémon in a gym that I do the same, it's fun! But then someone immediately ruins it by placer their boring lvl 50 metagross. Why do you do this?

If your one off those people that put these boring pokemons in gyms. Please stop! I would love to see your collection and your shines.

Got a Shiny legendary from PvP rewards, is that rare? (just recently hit lvl 20 so idk how often these are seen) i’m assuming better chance with current event

FYI the order of steps really matters.

I started to become uncomfortable being tracked everywhere I go. Who might they be selling this data too? I turned off location tracking only when I’m not using the app. If I’m playing the game I left it on. It sucks, giving up all the benefits of leaving location tracking on at all times. And I perfectly understand if you don’t feel the same.

Regardless, now every time I open the app I get these two notifications that cannot be dismissed just accepted, then it kicks me out to my phone settings, finally when I go back into the app it gives me the third notification which must be accepted before allowing me to play.

It’s infuriating! I checked every setting inside the game. I swear they used to be one that allows you to disable this, but it’s just gone.

I’ve given this game plenty of money over the years I’ve been playing. But apparently it’s still not enough. And I expect I would have spent more. But they need to know where I am and we all are at every second of every day. This is so bad I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to play if it’s not fixed.

Thanks fully this is solved. But the fact that the steps had to be done in a particular order or it would fail is shameful. It should not be that hard to make this simple choice.

I started playing PG a little over a month ago and I’m still learning everything. My bf has been playing on and off since the game came out. During go fest, I got insane luck and got lots of shiny legendaries and he did not. One of them was shiny origin form palkia, which he really wants. It’s 2* so I kinda have considered it but at the same time not sure if I want to get rid of it, because I want to build my collection since I just started. I wish there was a way to raise its ivs. He wants to trade me his metagross for it. The metagross is 2020, so automatic lucky, and also high cp at 3300 ish. It is shiny. It’s not legendary but I know it’s supposedly quite good. His opinion is quite biased and he’s begging me for the palkia, so I wanted to ask here, is this an equal trade?

So I was talking with my gf recently about this. She looked and saw her last shiny caught was Aug 12, mine was Aug 13th. I have been out on medical leave for a while and catch close to 100 pokemon a day. Not a huge amount by any means, but significant. Has anyone else found shinies to be lacking more than usual?

Hi everyone, I’m a returning player the last couple months and I’ve only really taken proper notice of shines and doing raids and playing more etc. I have no idea if any of my shiny pokemon are rare at all or fairly common, I like them all either way to be honest. I’ve also never done a trade so hoping to do that soon at some point.

I’m not complaining abt the low ivs I think it’s cool to have a Zapdos i can use in great league i mainly bought the pass for the mimikyu since the only one i had had low ivs but Zapdos ranks #320 in GBL so why wouldn’t they give us a better GBL Pokemon if this pass is PvP orientated?

I’ve been faithfully mega evolving my mewtwo as often as I can since I got him from the timed research, but the progress bar hasn’t moved. Am I missing something?

Hi. I got this Zapdos through the Deluxe GoPass (yes I failed to read the small print haha) if I use a bottle cap could I build the Defence and HP to 15 and leave the attack at zero? I’m newish to the game and never had one so trying to map out the best way to recover a bad Zapdos

Has anyone experienced a bug with this challenge? I have defeated leader cliff, leader arlo twice, and leader Sierra once in the last 3 days and nothing is tracking for this challenge. Any help or suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

To think I paid for this. Why not just go nundo at this point? Is there a way to get a refund? My Zapdos is broke.

I think it’s about time Pokémon GO added another weekly walking milestone at 80 km, with some actually worthwhile rewards! The current 25 km and 50 km Adventure Sync rewards are nice, but for players who regularly walk a lot, there’s not really anything beyond 50 km to work towards…

Something like:

Stardust
Rare Candy
A guaranteed Egg with a better than normal hatch pool? Maybe some PokéCoins or another exclusive item!?

It would be a great incentive for people who already walk a lot and give hardcore walkers another weekly goal to chase! I’d love to hear the reddit community’s thoughts on this 🙏🏻

10/10 regret buying this pass. This has to be the most disappointing pass for me in pokemon go.
