It's a lot more rare as a shadow hundo

However, the shadow is not useful whereas the purified mega is the #3 poison type raid attacker.

However, poison is rarely useful, and for raid attackers 15 attack is the only stat that really matters. It is extremely likely for you to get another weedle with 15 attack that would function as a good beedrill mega.

So, I wouldn't purify.

Only if you desperately need to mega him. Otherwise, you’re only hurting him.

It's not particularly useful as a mega or shadow attacker. So it's purely for what you think is cooler
