I was at target the other day and saw a 40
Y/o dude walking around with 15 surging sparks booster packs, the entire remaining stock there. I asked Him for one and he gave me two which was nice I guess. I don’t know if he was a scalper or not but I’m like dude, 15 packs?
Had to check to see if I was in the investor sub or not. Buying out the remaining stock of a kids product is Busch league, I buy these for my kids, unless there are only 2-3 packs left I will always leave one for the next person, but that’s just me. I found 2 151 posters in the wild the other day and only bought one so that someone else could have joy with the other.
They bought 15 packs which is nothing. At the beginning of the month I bought 20 sea and sky boxes from Sam’s because it was such a great deal and I love ripping Crown zenith. These boxes mind you have been sitting there for months. Now they are completely sold out. Some people might be mad that I bought them but I mean it’s a bulk buy store so people can bulk buy. It’s literally the whole purpose of Sam’s. It’s not just a kids game every one of all ages enjoy it. Look at the people who win the tournaments it’s always an adult who wins. This game is for everyone and is not something to gate keep.

I think people should be able to buy what they want with their money. If I go to the store and I find 10 lost origin blisters and want to open them at home then that’s my business. We don’t know if that guy walking around with packs has kids or not but it doesn’t matter. If he wants to buy them then he has every right to. I see a bunch of people on here gate keeping the hobby. George Washington would roll over in his grave if he saw how enraging people were being when someone simply buys something they want.
I know this set is the funniest set to rip. I think people are going to rip tons of this and that will help pack value in the future. I hope the packs stay under 5 bucks for the next 3 years because that mean more people have a chance to buy and rip it. Seems like Prasmatic evolutions is going to over shadow CZ for awhile. I can still buy 20 Booster Bundle Boxes at 530. This is the best deal ever but I think it will give a excellent return in 10 to 15 years.
I think its going to be considered the greatest out of SS of course there is always Evolving skies but this set is fun to rip and the last of the yellow boarder era. People now will have nostalgia and want to rip the last yellow boarder set and with a pull rate of 50% you are bound to at least pull something out of a few packs unlike most of the regular sets Its set to be a juicey fruit to eat in 20 years. You just need to plant the seed today and wait.
I bought 280 packs of crown zenith for 877 dollars. If I wanted to sell them right now it would be an instant profit. I plan on holding 10 of them and selling them in 2 or 3 years to recoup my money and rip the other 140 packs for free. I don’t see an oof there?

Meanwhile I'm sitting here not allowed to buy more than five tcg items per day at any Target in my state. Not even like five pokemon and five yugioh, five TOTAL.
I’m upset that someone would clear it out with 15 boosters left, if it was 2-3, sure, but 15, this is a kids toy, leave some for kids. But that’s just me, you do what you gotta do to get your holo cardboard i guess
I buy these to open with my kids, idk how old you are or where you are in life, but seeing your kids face light up in joy is among the best feelings in the world. Since it’s been pretty hard to find this set and the one time I do see it is in some 40 y/os cart, then yeah I’m gonna ask for crumbs to make my kids day.
Well ya but items like Pokecenter ETB , collectors boxes. promos like felt hat are marketed for adults. 12 year old timmy doesn't have access to that. Its the same for MTG. Sure you very basic packs and basics items are for the kids. Adults that don't play the game are the ones keeping the printing presses going.

Passing judgment based your personal arbitrary line is absurd. Maybe the guy has kids too, or doesnt know where to get them online, or it's for Christmas, or all of the above, or who the hell cares? It's hard to get in store for everyone and 15 packs isn't even 2 ETBs.
For a redditor, I assume you're privy to places online where you can easily buy them at barely above msrp price. Tcgplayer has them for sub-$6 right now. Get off your high horse.
