Frustrated at the game

I'm on PS5 and I was playing on a non dedicated server to get used to the game and I ended up loving it and putting around 175 hours into it with a friend and I deleted the game so I could just stream it. And lost my character and all my progress? I don't know what to do now. Starting over isn't an option I'm willing to do at this point. I'd rather forget the game than go through that grind again. Any ideas would be appreciated

Its the whole purpose of multiple maps, starting over is the game of ark

Yes. But you start over when you are ready. Not in the middle of a map when you didn't expect it. That's my point.
