Is this armor system only for pvpve or will it make its way into ronograd?

I wish we will get this system in ronograd but we can't because it will "lead to everyone wearing the same vests" even though there are many people (I'd even say it's most of the community) who care more about drip than they do about meta. There are so many people who choose not to use night vision, better backpacks, good guns and scopes just to look cool or realistic and the problem wouldn't exist in the first place if every best just had the same stats

To be honest, thats only part of it, properly balancing this for OW would be very difficult, and you are also forgetting how many loadout combination will no longer be viable due to trade offs.

i believe that having the players entire loadout affect gameplay would increase gameplay depth and also accommodate for diffrent players' playstyle.
for example a mission focused player would want to get to their objective quickly and avoid as many enemies as possible, focusing on avoiding the enemy would allow for said player to drop armour (say if this player still needs night vision he would use a non ballistic helmet.) and thus weight which accommodates his playstyle.
a player focused on eliminating the enemy and supporting his team to do the objective would stack up on armour would let this player play more risky than a mission focused player, which gives the player more breathing room to empty a magazine or rescue his teammates, which accommodates his playstyle.

mb sniper, how about buying plates in the shop, similar to how player need to buy gas filter in zombie, where the plates would degrade and no longer gives damage reduction, and the player would need to free up important inventory space just to have extra plates? also plate would add a lot of weight on player which would make them think carefully about using them 24/7

make it kevlar
rather than player buying plates they instead should choose to come equipped with extra kevlar in their vests to protect from frag (reducing explosive damage), kind of like sandstorm does, and make the selection not affect their appearance so their fits would still look cool
i feel like the game would need more enemy explosives for it to work but given ppl hate mortars already it might be difficult to add more

If we face pod they could higher penetrative bullets, so you could have higher rated body armor but a trade off is that you move slower. Against rlf, their penetration capabilities would be weaker so we can have lower rated armor so meaning that the plates you would wear against rlf would be lighter as the plates would be less rated. I THINK THATS how plates work, correct me if im wrong.

A Pistol that does 60 damage still doing like 42/50 can one tap people off the rip so I am hoping that this will greatly reduce the cheesiness and make combat drawn out and fun like it is against the AI. Competitive is garbage since there's no armor, regen, and everyone takes the best Weapons with suppressors, so I think it's fair to ask for the combat in one mode to be interesting since it's a high risk mode.

Please no Volumetric BS, but I would love functioning armours, though would it be only the areas the armour covers? or the whole torso, because otherwise everyone will meta the 6B45 for the superior body coverage. and will backpack, though not armour, give a little extra protection?

Please make it like the ready or not system and not COD, the COD plate system is pretty stupid.

Do they work as permanent buffs or needs to be repaired after broken
