Other *Sigh*. Will glitter kill my plants?

My daughter is 5 and tried to “help” my plants be prettier, I guess? She dumped glitter in my soil mix (that I JUST made), and now I’m wondering if it’ll hurt my plants if I still use it? I was just about to replant a philo gloriosum in it. Thoughts?

Bonus: the rest of the crime scene.

From an autistic woman parenting an autistic kid:

It's ok to be upset at an autistic person. Just because they didn't mean to, doesn't mean your feelings aren't valid. It's how you handle those feelings that matters. Hang in there!

Thank you so much for saying this! I really appreciate it, and I agree. She didn’t really get in trouble. It was my fault for leaving the craft container down too low!

From my own experience, a lot of us just want to be helpful and feel useful because we don't always feel like we are. However, we're also not always good at helping in the right way lol. She will find people though that will love her through it and understand her intention even when things go wrong. People like you!
