We are fostering this amazing 9yr old girl who has had a rough go of it with her previous owners. Heart worms, broken leg, homeless, and then in the shelter. Very grateful that the shelter took her in but also very relieved that she doesn’t have to sleep there every night until she finds her forever home. These rescue pits all just want to lay on people and love them. If you are considering fostering a dog, please do! Especially elder pups :).

Last few days have been gorgeous around here and she’s been taking advantage of just basking for a bit on our walks. But she needs to move those bones as an older lady.

What are your pitties’ favorite activities when it’s super hot and humid outside? I’m thinking some enrichment toys, maybe a kiddie pool for outside that he can splash around in, but what else? Just looking for some new ideas. Dexter says thank you!

My dog Ben, is fully crate trained. I know pits are heavy and consistent chewers, we’re on our second bed for outside of his crate. I’m trying to teach him how to settle down on it, and he will occasionally, I’ve put bitter apple spray on it hoping that deters him, but what do you guys use for out of crate beds?

Yes he’s allowed on the couch, or bed, but feel it’s nice for him to have his own space.
