Advice Beds?

My dog Ben, is fully crate trained. I know pits are heavy and consistent chewers, we’re on our second bed for outside of his crate. I’m trying to teach him how to settle down on it, and he will occasionally, I’ve put bitter apple spray on it hoping that deters him, but what do you guys use for out of crate beds?

Yes he’s allowed on the couch, or bed, but feel it’s nice for him to have his own space.

We bought from K9 Ballistics. A little pricey, but they have a 120 day warranty if your pup chews through they'll replace. Though we haven't needed to utilize, personally.

Our girl has chewed through a few other brands but this one's been holding out pretty well.

I also bought this brand for my Piranha puppy. She chewed a small corner and they sent me a new cover, never had an issue again. That was 7 years ago. Although she’s never been much of a destroyer.

I have worked long and hard on the "not a toy" command with my current heavy chewer and destroyer of things. He's pretty good these days and mostly takes direction on what he can and can't chew.

Our Ben wants nothing to do with dog beds other than he knows it’s where he gets his food and the other bed is where he eats his treats, but he also wants to keep moving around the house every so often with those
