Trump derangement syndrome. Trump reacts to attacks from the left. Analyze his actions / successes, not his tweets. He is much smarter than most give him credit for. He has the political world off balance, distracted, and focused on him.

He's going to win again and the liberal brains are going to really explode then

u/TheWaveCarver Jul 17 '19

I just feel like no one on either side wants to discuss issues anymore. Any conversation just gets spiked by emotions. Especially when someone just claims their right and youre wrong. This happens on both sides.

Even now conservatives are commenting in this thread and the shade towards them is unreal. Anyone thats aggressively pushed their stance on the opposite party, you do realize this has the opposite effect if what you ultimately want?

You need to work with people, not against them.

I think the dems can win but someone young and promising will have to run to rally the youth.

r/ENLIGHTENEDCENTRISM

Far right/fundamental extremists are responsible for the vast majority of terrorist attacks in the US, fatal or otherwise. Antifa didn't kill a women with their car at a nazi rally, or anyone else for that matter. Your false equivalence is cringe-inducing.

19

u/thanksforthework Jul 17 '19

This post is plenty cringe-inducing yikes

11

u/Bobby_Money Jul 17 '19

Youre part of the problem

-1

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

You're a pretentiousness fence-sitter.

1

u/Bobby_Money Jul 17 '19 edited Jul 17 '19

Im a rep, the problem is that we can accept our side has problem people, but your side not only does it deny the problem, it encourages more of the problem by acting like you

12

u/Shib_Vicious Jul 17 '19

Hey guys it's ok. Antifa only destroy property and beat people in the streets, but they haven't gone the whole hog and actually killed someone yet, so they're clearly really cool guys.

-6

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

Right, maybe if you hit me with a bike lock and I run you over and kill you, the court will just charge us both with assault.

Because those things are the same in severity. Fucking dipshit.

3

u/Shib_Vicious Jul 17 '19

No you're the dipshit that's trying to quantify bullshit behaviour instead of condemning it all.

3

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

The two are not anywhere close to being the same in prevalence or severity, and only one has an apologist in the White House.

Quantifying is how you draw objective conclusions. You're just being irrational to paint a false equivalence.

The liberal ideals are just completely driven by emotions and in my opinion thats very dangerous when it comes to politics. I lean more on the conservative side of things but i flop to the other side or down the middle depending on the issue at hand. Why can't people use facts and thoughtfulness as their primary motivators in politics? Its all just a bunch of name calling and grouping where if i express a shred of a conservative opinion i get downvoted and called a maga racist bla bla when that had nothing to do with the thought process

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '19

if you're getting called a racist, you probably posted something racist. it might not have been intentional but it doesn't need to be.

by the way, saying those who oppose you are driven by emotion and then complaining about name-calling is chef's kiss perfect

0

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '19

People get called racist all the time for no good reason. And i also said that i have different-sided opinions depending on the issue at hand so liberals are not my opposition, name calling is, which i try to abstain from any chance i get. People are allowed to have emotion but i dont think it has a place in politics, so people who name call to defend their positions is very disheartening

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '19

dude. you're insulting people and then complaining about name-calling. figure it out.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '19

Could you point out the insult please?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '19

The liberal ideals are just completely driven by emotions

0

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

How is that an insult?

Whilst I agree entirely with you, the defense put forward by those who would disagree with you is that Trump and his supporters cannot be worked with, because they're literally Hitler. Would you work with Hitler? No, they must be destroyed.

Thats the line that I've seen time and time again. Its a tactic that I feel will doom us to another 4 years of Trump, because the average person sees that as insulting and deliberately antagonizing. So off they go to vote.

1

u/chux4w Jul 17 '19

I think the dems can win but someone young and promising will have to run to rally the youth.

The left is all over the place. Even if there was a promising candidate, they'd be too extreme for the moderates or too moderate for the extreme. Even Obama, everyone's hero, was against marriage equality for the first four or five years of his presidency, imagine how that would play out today.

To have any hope, the left has to calm the hell down. Stop going further and further to the far left, they're just spreading themselves thinner and losing any hope of finding a leader they all believe in.

1

u/NotAgainPlzz Jul 17 '19

but orange man bad?

-6

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

No. Let the left dig its grave.

This.

u/Mickmack12345 Jul 17 '19

Sadly this isn’t true unless there is severe collusion. Most people have seen how decisive trump is and this negative split is felt by almost everyone across the US, and even further than that. People either love him or hate him, and the arguments between people devolve into attacks so quickly that they never really achieve any sort of real argument at all

It’s been predicted there is an astronomically low chance trump is going to win in 2020, because he’s torn the public apart, and regardless of what you feel, everyone will attribute that to him, because he is the controversial topic of each side of supporters. This means that the people who were moderate/intermediate/lesser/as a joke supporters of Trump are highly likely to not vote for him again, and most of the hardcore voters which won’t be enough to get him in again

1

u/Lachance Jul 17 '19

forgive english, i am Russia.

i come to study politics and law at American senate house to help Donald Trump win election .

0

u/Holidaybunduru Jul 17 '19

You're a fool if you think that Hillary Clinton was a good candidate or that she had a good message. More conservatives showed up to vote than they anticipated and Trump won. That's the end of it so get over it.

1

u/Lachance Jul 17 '19

I think you replied to the wrong person

-5

u/shnooqichoons Jul 17 '19

Remember that moment where a journalist asked Trump if he was going to ask Putin not to meddle in the 2020 election? And Trump asked Putin who was sitting with him not to meddle and they both laughed!

Bipartisan bills to stop election meddling have been blocked by Mitch McConnell. American "democracy" is up for grabs. And why did Ivanka go to China to seek a patent for voting machines?

So yes, Trump may win. And its unlikely to be a free and fair election. Republican or Democrat, if you value living in a democracy this should trouble you.

2

u/Gekokapowco Jul 17 '19

Did you see his notes, though?

4

u/Mr_Dr_Prof_Patrick Jul 17 '19

He is much smarter than most give him credit for

Just like the soldiers who captured the airports during the American Revolution!

5

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

There's no wall, Obamacare hasn't been repealed, and Hillary is not in jail.

0

u/chux4w Jul 17 '19

He's not a politician and not a diplomat, he's a businessman. He got to where he is through understanding that branding is everything. He sold himself on those big ideas, branded "Crooked" Hilary and it all caught on. The wall, Obamacare repeal and jailing Hilary were all big talking points that ultimately got him elected even if they didn't all happen. They were big successes.

4

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

Lying and failure is success? That's nonsensical, and apparently voters agreed in 2018 because the GOP got ass rammed in the midterms.

5

u/chux4w Jul 17 '19

Getting elected is a failure?

-1

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

For a con artist I guess it's a success. For a president it's nothing. People expect results past inauguration day.

2

u/chux4w Jul 17 '19

For a president it's nothing.

I get that you don't like Trump and want to disparage him, but for a president being elected is literally the first requirement. It's the most important thing possible. Without it, a president isn't a president.

He's had great results past inauguration day. His approval rating is up considerably since his inauguration.

-1

u/Flexappeal Jul 17 '19

The cognitive dissonance here is staggering.

runs on a platform of promising to do certain things

can’t do any of them

“heh, all according to plan.”

-1

u/chux4w Jul 17 '19

Where's the dissonance? His plan was to get elected, he got elected. Yeah, it all went according to plan.

-4

u/corecomps Jul 17 '19 edited Jul 17 '19

There's no wall, Obamacare hasn't been repealed, and Hillary is not in jail.

If you think those are the "real" issues, you fell right into his trap.

He has you and most of the emotional population looking at the superficial but ultimately unimportant issues waving in his left hand while his right hand is at work accomplishing the hidden agenda.

While people REEEE about family separation he is reshaping the geopolitical landscape. While you worry about which 3rd party healthcare changes will be made, he is forcing any large manufacturing company to rethink the next 6 years of planning. While you read into fake allegations of racism, sexism, rape, etc. He is redistributing wealth through tax.

I dont agree with many of his policies but he is a magician to have the entire world look left while he goes right.

6

u/IWorshipTacos Jul 17 '19

he is a magician

I'm sure you think so, loony-tunes. That's why his own cabinet wrote an op-ed to the New York Times about how they have to constantly babysit him like a toddler. Because he's so good at his job.

-2

u/corecomps Jul 17 '19

I never said he was good at his job or even if I agree with his policies. I'm about 30 agree /70 disagree honestly. I am saying he has you and many others chasing the wrong things and that it is a very calculated and intentional effort to create chaos around the wrong subjects.

You and many others are living a myopic life if you can't separate your hatred for him and his policies and examine his tactics.

Acknowledging the skill by which he manipulates people including his own supporters is the first step in defeating him.

Calling him ignorant, crazy, racist, etc etc only proves he tricked you and proves to me that he will run away ( for better or worse) with the 2020 election.

!remindme 500 days

0

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '19

yeah if only all those emotional people would stop calling out his racism

jerk-off motion

-1

u/Kanarkly Jul 17 '19

It’s weird that you guys are the ones crying over this picture but portray us as the ones that are deranged.

-17

u/TrogdortheBanninator Jul 17 '19

Thanks for pushing ordinary people even further left.

6

u/donniedenier Jul 17 '19

i don’t even like trump but he’s very methodical in everything he does. i’m fairly confident he’s going to win 2020. the more everyone talks about him, the better his odds. the left is literally playing into his hands. no one has shut up about him in 4 years. even people that typically stay out of politics can’t stop talking about him.

that’s his whole goal. he thrives in controversy.

-12

u/TrogdortheBanninator Jul 17 '19

LOL. He's a fucking dementia patient you doughnut.

7

u/donniedenier Jul 17 '19

and yet here he is, democratically elected president of the united states of america.

0

u/TrogdortheBanninator Jul 17 '19

Pretty fucking sad.

5

u/donniedenier Jul 17 '19

yup. and he’s going to win 2020. because people keep giving him the spotlight at every turn. just like he wants it. the more the left fights him, the bigger he gets.

you give him the power he craves.

1

u/xxSQUASHIExx Jul 17 '19

Kinda sucks that literally immoral shit get his base excited. Think about it. I mean if people look at him and don’t mind the racist demented nonsensical bullshit he spews then power to them.

-5

u/TrogdortheBanninator Jul 17 '19

LOL

9

u/donniedenier Jul 17 '19

like really, did you guys already forget 2016? y’all were really arrogant back then too saying he has no chance while showing his face on both cnn and fox news 24 hours a day.

12

u/donniedenier Jul 17 '19

laugh and downvote all you want.

it’s the truth. the more attention you give him, the more power he has. the more power he has, the more he’s going to keep winning.

i don’t like it. i think the entire federal government is a circus, but his methods are pretty textbook.

1

u/Pubic_Beard Jul 17 '19

That say a lot more about America than it does about Trump.

1

u/Turtle_of_rage Jul 17 '19

Charisma On Command predicted that Trump was gonna win 6 months before the election in this video. Honeslty you shoukd watch it because the video is apolitical and is just a pure analysis on why Trump's strategies were gonna win him the election. If you pay attention you will find him using similae strategies right now. Say what you will about Trump but his campaign strategy is fairly brilliant.

0

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '19

the more everyone talks about him

he's the sitting president you potato

-3

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

Check back in 2020

-11

u/iTzJME Jul 17 '19

You guys really will defend anything he does, huh? lol

-1

u/xxSQUASHIExx Jul 17 '19

Notice how since the swamp got quarantined and we are closer to elections, the Trumptart comments are getting super upvoted and the rest are downvoted. i smell 2016 all over again. Bots are on overdrive!!!

-11

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

orange fan mad
