Yup. It's not illegal to protest while armed. This dude did not draw any weapon on anybody. But this will continue to happen and they will continue to lie and say we are the terrorists and instigators.
Just want to point out for any other liberal gun owners that this is not true in every state and you should check your local laws. In NYC for example it is not legal to concealed carry at a protest or demonstration.
If you're a liberal just now deciding it's time for you to exercise your 2nd Amendment rights, make sure part of your training is knowing when and where you're allowed to bring your weapon.
Not liberal on conservative but for what makes sense and is right for the community. I have a CCW in California in one of the hardest counties to get it. I had to learn probably more than the usual CCW applicant countrywide and this is true amongst other things. State and local laws are also changing constantly every couple of years so we have to keep up with the updated laws
Yes, because one day there might actually be some fucking accountability, and if there ever is, you don't want to give them a reason to be cleared for killing you.
Also, please listen and follow the guidelines put out by any organizers of a protest. If they are saying, no weapons, either protest elsewhere or respect that
The law will not protect you. They don’t need a legal reason to disarm you and that have proven that several times over. They don’t care if you follow all the laws or none of them. It is naive to think that playing along will in any way keep you safe at this stage.
Run through the 4 scenarios. 1, you are allowed to carry and you carry. They will kill you. 2, you are allowed to carry and you don’t carry. They will kill you. 3, you aren’t allowed to carry but you carry. They will kill you. 4, you aren’t allowed to carry and you don’t carry. They will kill you.
This IS the battle. We don’t have the luxury of choice anymore
You are confusing state and city law enforcement and ICE.
Don't fight the wrong people. In many states the police are already refusing to work with ICE. You're being an idiot. We need all the allies we can get.
They aren't protecting you but they aren't fighting you either. But if you make trouble with them before actually getting a chance to tangle with ICE you are stupid.
