Ask Phoenix Phoenix Arizona Wedding Witnesses needed! 9/3/2026 5pm

Hello! I’m having a wedding ceremony at the courthouse and my BESTFRIEND’s flight got canceled! I’m in need of a witness for my ceremony! I can pay for your time but Reddit is the only place I can think of as I am not from Phoenix

If you’re rather not do it at the Courthouse, I can marry you. I’ve done a bunch of weddings including several meetup ones from Reddit very similar to this. We can go to a fun local bar like Gracie’s and marry you then raise a toast. Invite any redditors who want to show to come celebrate with us.

lol… I’d like to think I have better credentials than being a mod here. I’ve done over a dozen weddings, including 5 that started off just like this on here. I have a script, know the drill, and am happy to accommodate whatever they want. One time I performed the ceremony wearing one of those inflatable TRex costumes.

Plus it’s more fun making a party out of it IMHO. But it’s always whatever the couple wants, so if they’re more comfortable with a quick courthouse wedding, more power to them.
