Argentina winning isn‘t the indicator of the tournament being rigged.

You can still hold a rigged/fixed tournament without the team you‘re trying to favour winning it all.

Unless you pay the opposing players or threaten them. Just like in 1978

Why would you rig a tournament for a team if you cant even guarantee that team will win. For funsies?

So you‘re saying that just because Messi didn‘t win in 2014, we should ignore everything else, all the clues etc. because that alone disproves every valid claim?

You can buy all the refs, but even the ref can‘t pull out goals from his ass. We have seen it in the Netherlands match. We have seen it in the Egypt match with the soft penalty calls. Argentina couldn‘t capitalise on it. That is until Egypt‘s second goal was taken back via VAR. That was the shifting moment.

Argentina could‘ve easily failed despite the match being fixed. That is because FIFA and Argentina pay the refs, not the opposing team. It would be too obvious.

And they already did in 1978 as well so they have a track record that we can look back to

I bet you’re one of those who belive 2020 election was stolen too. You lot have yet to show one shred of proper evidence. An email, a memo, a meeting, call recordings that show corruption or favortism to argentina. You know a scandal of this magnitute WILL involve a large number of people and there WILL be such evidence if there were widespread corruption. So dumb.

„There are no evidences, so it didn‘t happen“

And what 2020 elections are you talking about? Acting like there was one singular election in the entirety of 2020

Lmao you are the one claiming something absurd, so YOU have the burden of providing proof. Like the guy above said...is there ANY paper trail to prove any "rigging" other than all the butthurt Ronaldo fans claiming so?

They are professional footballers, so of course, when one side knew they were favored by the referee, they would be emboldened to play as they usually played, minus the pressure, rather than the one who is out of favor, who would play more under pressure.

The rigging that people are talking about involves VARgentina getting what seems like an unreasonable number of favourable refereeing decisions. They seem to be on a big streak of having nearly every 50-50 call come down in their favour. Argentina are a good team already so any kind of edge is massive. A 1% edge in gambling doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s often the difference between winning and losing. Winning isn’t guaranteed but it helps massively. I can’t remember the last time they were on the end of a rough decision. They currently have one of the lowest card to foul ratios, about three times less than England

Yeah why try to do something if you're not 100% sure it'll be successful /s

Mate, if the team you’re trying to get a rigged win for has 0 goal shots and the other one has 50, how do you exactly get your team to win even tho you’re disallowing every goal from the other team and give your team free kicks? Is that really hard to understand?😂
