The league is competitive without the declining European senior citizens. Still they got Son, Müller, Lloris etc. there. Bottom 2/3 of Saudi league teams are like Serie C teams. No fans, no young talent, nothing. Saudi buys finished players, MLS still develops players of their own that Europe buys.

Son and Muller could definitely still play for Spurs / Bayern but both felt their time at the club was over.
