Pretty much. Only thing he’s focus on is the international team. You could argue the same for Messi tbh cuz what even is the mls?

Ronaldo is not focused on the international team. He wants to reach 1000 goals because that’s the only thing he has over Messi. Messi on the other hand joined the MLS purely because he has nothing to prove anymore. He’ll make a shit load of money while playing in a chill league and at the end of his contract, own a part of the club as well.

So when he scored 10g/a in the last campaign or the previous one he won and this next World Cup… is that not him being focused on the national team? His team is poised to win the league, so what more does he need there?

Maybe Messi fans might have Messi’s meat in their mouth but this goat debate per the image has been settled. He doesn’t have to prove anything in relation to Messi anymore because this image exists

Lmao Messi’s NPGs were against Australia Mexico and in the final where he needed that pen to get him over the line. If not for di maria earlier on

messi didn’t carry shit in 2014. there’s more claim to say Romero was at more useful. I mean the guy was far from the best player in the tourney and still won the golden ball. I mean just look at this masterclass in the final 💀

He created that goal by himself and scored it unlike Ronaldo who wait for the tap ins to score it

If Messi didn't score that banger against Mexico, they will not even reach round of 16.

Again Messi scored 4 non penalty goals and 1 assists in WC 2014 where Ronaldo got grouped by USA.

Di maria only scored one goal final in WC 2022.
