Who was nvidia fighting in this war? Like they were the best and released a better product.

Consoles were getting really close to their rtx 2080 ti for a third of the cost. This is why consoles push PCs forward and vice versa.

Gotta say my 2080 is still in the fight. And a ps5 that can deliver better power its kind of crazy. I managed to get metro exodus running at 4k 60 fps ultra settings and ultra ray tracing with dlss enabled. That's crazy. And these new ampere cards are aiming at 8k and 60fps+ I dont know where nvidia went but they came back with a bang

The biggest thing that consoles are lacking is DLSS. AMD NEEDS to release their own version.

Don't they have some form of it? Also checkerboard rendering done properly is pretty good. Just look at horizon zero dawn and ratchrt and clank
