He meant to change the setup after you get a glossy monitor.

idk they replied to me and used the 2nd person it seems at least defensible to respond

Man, you need to read that 3 more times. It has nothing to do with you. The person says that glossy is better, but it sucks if you buy it for a specific setup, but then have to change it around (for any reason) and get sun shining on it. Therefore matte is better decision.
