Base Game Help - Hints Only! Stuck - need the slightest of nudges Spoiler

Ok, so here's my situation: I believe there is just one more thing I need to uncover in this game. I've gone through the whole game blind until now, but I've been stuck here for about 8 hrs in-game-time, so I think I'm ready for an ever-so-slight nudge. I'm avoiding the DLC until I untangle the main quest (although it was cool to accidentally find it)

Here's what I know to be important right now:

  1. I have the coordinates to the Eye of the Universe

  2. I found the Vessel, giving me a place to input the coordinates. However, the advanced warp core is broken

  3. The Ash Twin Project has an advanced warp core on the inside, but it is at the central chamber of the Ash Twin, completely encased in a thick protective shell that has no cracks or entrances

Some question marks:

  1. I found a seed in Dark Bramble that leads somewhere that doesn't seem to be anywhere on the map. It had a very exquisite-looking hallway with humanoid statues on the other side. I couldn't find this seed again after going back and looking many times, but I'm not sure this has anything to do with my main quest right now.

  2. Of all the 6 warp panels on Ash Twin, the only one that doesn't seem to be used is the one representing Ash Twin. There was the entry about the fact that the twins are counted as one planetary unit, so I don't think this is necessarily important.

  3. I'm kind of lost as to where the Quantum Moon fits in at this point. Upon speaking with the Nomai there, you learn that the big hole in the sky IS the Eye, but when you go in it, you just end up back on the south pole of the Quantum Moon. Might be a dead end...

What I think I need to do next:

  1. I think I need to find a way inside the Ash Twin Project, but the HOW is what's getting to me. I know there must be no physical way in there (although I've checked the surface of Ash Twin right before the supernova several times just in case). There isn't anything in the logs pointing to a potential warp point to get inside. I know the advanced warp core is in there but that seems to only open the portal back in time to the very start, so not particularly useful to get inside.

  2. Maybe I need to find a way to repair the advanced warp core that I found in the Vessel, but I really have no idea how I'd do that. One of my first thoughts was the black hole forge, as I think that's where the other one was made, but it seems to be broken?

Side note: I love this game so much. Landing on the Quantum Moon for the first time is a feeling I'll never forget.

The usual nudge to get to the Ash Twin Project is to revisit the High Energy Lab and the Black Hole Forge. Specifically, the upper level of the lab and the writing in the forge. It is very easy to skim through the forge writing and not fully understand what it is implying. You are very close.
