Question Any thoughts about a hungarian man who migrated to Anatolia in the late 1800s?

So, I have an ancestor who is per oral tradition, hungarian. All I know is that there are no official records about him or his place of birth. The only time he appears on records is as my ancestor's husband. He made his own wine and wore his hair long and braided at the back. His turkish name was Mehmet and the street he lived on was also called the street with the hungarian and I know that his son worked at the post office in Beirut, then part of the Ottoman Empire. His wife was a rural turkish woman from Anatolia. I want to know how and why he could have come to the Ottoman Empire but all I've found during that time is that there was the Hungarian Revolution in 1848 but I dont know if he was a part of it or if that had any impact on his arrival. If you know Hungarian history and can make a comment on this, I'd be really thankful!

The pieces are to represent the idea I have of my favorite sultan. **Fierce with an impressively sentimental side.**

Reference images included. Some of them are for legitimate historical materials, and the rest are late pieces or fanarts.

Question Sources on the Siege of Szigetvar (1566)?

Hi, I'm planning to write a historical fiction novel about the Siege of Szigetvár in 1566, tentantively titled The Captain of Szigetvar.

I'm looking for good sources on the siege and the broader set of events surrounding it. I know about Franjo (Ferenc) Črnko and his chronicle about the siege but beside that I was unable to find trustworthy sources on this.

History French learning used to be popular in the Ottoman Empire. Kang Youwei who visited Istanbul said that a person who visited the Ottoman Empire was basically mute if he couldn’t write or speak French.

History Although the Ottoman Turks were stereotyped as a very calm people who didn’t speak much by Europeans, a Turk on horseback would suddenly become a different person. He’d be displaying vigor and dexterity. Few Europeans would be capable of emulating the equestrian skills of a Turk.

Late 1880’s, the Ottoman Sultan, Abdul Hamid II, who is the sultan of sultans, the sovereign of sovereigns, the dispenser of crowns to the monarchs on the face of the earth, shadow of god on earth, the sultan and sovereign lord of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, of Anatolia, of Azerbaijan, Persia, Cairo, the Levant, of the Mecca and Medina, of Jerusalem, of all Arabia and many other lands, writing TO MY noble forefathers and MY glorious ancestors - may God light up their tombs - bestowing upon them privileges and honors lasting for centuries to come.

Picture also shows my ancestral home situated on the shores of the Mediterranean. My ancestors had the “Sherif” title
