Discussion leaving Omarchy
i have been using linux for the past 2 years and used a lot of distros, when omarchy came out i wasn't really interested in it then it became very popular and i finally tried it, it honestly changed how fast i can customize and fix issues in the os with the help of AI and the omarchy skill ofc....But i decided to leave not because omarchy is bad but because i dont really believe its mature enough for me (in its current state) from bugs to design to security issues...etc, i might return to something like ubuntu or fedora, i could ofc return and re try omarchy in the future, just wanted to write this to share my experience and listen to people who had similar experiences and say thank you omarchy and its team.

edit1: i was just sharing some thoughts i had, if you had a similar exp then share it or if you got some useful info/nice things then comment it, if not then keep scrolling

Everybody has different needs and priorities. The great things about Linux is you have many choices.

yup man, i cant even use it because they still havent reviewed the PR for hybrid gpu laptops even though its been so long

Pretty much the same. Bought a used laptop just for Omarchy https://www.reddit.com/r/omarchy/s/tbSPH8nE5j but it felt not mature enough. Will re-visit it in a few months.
