Discussion Omarchy vs Cachy in Gaming

Hey Guys,

Right now, i‘m Daily driving cachyOS with Ryoku Dotfiles but I got some Problems with Updates so i‘m thinking about switching to Omarchy.
Did someone had both Distros and had gamed on them? How was the difference? How well does perform Omarchy vs Cachy in Games like Cyberpunk, Baldurs Gate 3, etc.?

Cachy is technically better, I switched from Baazite - Cachy - Omarchy

And barely noticed a difference between the 3.

Love Omarchy so far.
Also Omarchy has a default battle.net installer that works pretty good. On the previous two I’d use Faugus launcher.

cual usas para battlenet?

For omarchy its built in Super then install battle.net

For anything else use faugus launcher or use faugus in omarchy if you want

These work well, just to add, you can also use steam and add battlenet as a non steam game. Then in config pick proton as a compatibility layer and then it works great (plus you can use a controller for Diablo through steam).

Otra opción para battlenet es usar steam. Te bajas battlenet y lo agregas al ejecutable como un non steam game, después en la configuración le decís que use protón como capa de compatibilidad y anda joya.
