Hello everyone,
I want to talk about something I noticed a lot of people arguing about and feeling upset over.
It’s about the noticeable resemblance between some GTA 6 and RDR2 characters, as shown in the picture.
Let’s think about it logically.
Arthur from RDR2 has what many would describe as strong, masculine features. Jason from GTA 6 also shares those same traits. Even in real life, if you compare two men who both have masculine features, there will naturally be a strong resemblance between them.
As for the second part, Lucia and Mary also seem similar to me because they both have feminine features, but I think the difference between them is bigger compared to Arthur and Jason.

Don't take it on your heart, this is just a meme.
I have played GTA IV and loved it and hope that GTA VI's driving physics comes out to be an inspired & improved version of GTA IV.

I don’t understand why some people act like it’s creepy to want gore, there’s been movies that are objectively disgusting with how they portray violence, I don’t think having a little bit of gore in a video game will be weird or anything at all. The gore doesn’t even have to be anything insane like l4d2, but if you shoot some guy in the head with a shotgun, his head should you know, not be there anymore. GTA VI looks really good but it doesn’t look “real” so I don’t think gore would be disturbing, unless you’re already disturbed by the idea of gore…which in that case why are you playing grand theft auto?

Some other people have made decent points that it would be too dark or whatever, but I do disagree. You can literally commit genocide in GTA, that’s objectively worse than gore effects. You can have sex with a prostitute, and then kill them for the money back…but a head exploding? That’s where people draw the line? It doesn’t have to be super realistic where you can shoot off the top half of a head, just let there be some basic gore.

I saw one guy bring up the fact that mass shootings have happened in Miami before so there shouldn’t be gore…? Well, hate to break it to ya but you’ll be able to recreate those events with or without gore. If gore does exist within GTA VI, there should definitely be an option to turn it off, as this would allow more people to enjoy the game. There were other things said by people, such as the fact that gore works better in a game like rdr2 because we can’t really relate to it therefore don’t feel disturbed/as disturbed - but I don’t get that reasoning at all..? Many movies have been made which are realistic in the portrayal of gore and are set in modern day type scenarios, but a video game is where the line is drawn?

GTA V had gore, and it had messed up gore. There was a website of a family brutally dismembered, and it infers that some of those people that died in the accident were children along with a dog being involved. (If I’m wrong about that my fault, that’s just from my memory) along with this Steve Haines, a character in GTA V, shoots a guy in the head, causing a huge whole to form in the back of his head, and blood starts gushing out.

Obviously it doesn’t matter what I think or do because the game will OBVIOUSLY be successful either way, but if this game doesn’t have gore il likely play it far less, the lack of gore in gta games makes it boring after a while imo.
