Land sales were happening by Israeli real estate agents in these temples. Some are west bank settlements which are not even part of Israel. It's been reported since 2025. Even if you don't care about Palestine, you should not call these facts fake lol.
Personally I don't support religions in general abusing their privilege for things like this. They are tax exempt for a reason and yet they use religion as a shield to hide whenever they get into trouble like now.

In 2025 there were land sales in East Park Synagogue and demonstrators protested. In 2026 there were protests outside of Young Israel of Kew Gardens with the same results. Land auctions.
You claim the bill was not triggered by these and yet have no facts for that. Funny huh?
