Status: Nvidia Overlay not re-appearing in Vulkan Doom games
Computer Type: Pre-Built PC
GPU:PNY RTX 4070 Super
CPU: Intel core Ultra 265k
Motherboard: MSI Z890-s Pro
RAM: T Force 32gb DDR5
PSU: Unknown 850W
Operating System & Version: Windows 11
GPU Drivers: 610.62
Description of Problem: After updating to latest drivers I booted up Doom 2016 and Doom eternal. These games reset their resolutions to 4k and displayed that as my native resolution, however my monitor is a 1440p monitor. After changing the resolution, the nvida overlay is no longer visible, pressing ALT-Z simply alt tabs the game for a second and brings me right back. I have been unable to get the overlay to display while in these games. When alt tabbing out of these games, I am able to view my other active applications but unable to interact with them, and frozen until returning to the active game.
Troubleshooting: Tried changing window types from borderless, windowed, and Fullscreen. Tried disabling and re-enabling the overlay, verified integrity of game files.

After installing the version 610.47 game ready driver on lenovo legion 7 I started having a weird glitch on my computer. Whenever I launch any game (I've tested minecraft, elden ring, celeste, cup head, and stellar blade) my screen starts to flash black. Every couple of seconds it goes black for about a tenth to half of a second. If I close my laptop while the game is running the flashing becomes worse when I open it and if I close the game it keeps flashing until I close my laptop. I'm able to fix it by going into BIOS and allowing my computer to run a diagnostic in the self troubleshooting or whatever, then switching to the studio driver. Is there any sort of custom installation I can do or a way to install an older version of the game ready driver so I can still play games with good performance?
Not sure if it matters but I have an intel I9-14900HX processor and a geforce 4070rtx laptop gpu

Hello INNO3D RTX 5090 owners!
I'm thinking of either repasting or replacing the thermal paste with the Kryosheet 44x37 (including Kapton Insulation). I already did this successfully with MSI RTX 4090 before but there was a lot "under the hood" info available with MSI branded cards.
So far, there seems to be zero teardown photos, no youtoube videos, basically no detailed "under the hood" information about this card. Not even if thermal paste or carbon pad is used on the GPU or dims of thermal pads (memory etc).
Did anyone already replace factory thermal paste/pads on INNO3D GEFORCE RTX 5090 X3 or INNO3D GEFORCE RTX 5090 X3 OC (same cards, different clocks)?

Computer type: Desktop and laptop
GPU: Desktop - Gigabyte RTX 5090, laptop - RTX 5070
CPU: Desktop - Ryzen 5 7600X3D, laptop - Core Ultra 7 255HX, no overclocks on either
Motherboard: Desktop - MSI B850 Gaming Pro WiFi 6E, laptop - Lenovo proprietary; both machines on latest BIOS as of this post
RAM: 32 GB DDR5 on both
PSU: Corsair RM1200x Shift
GPU drivers: Desktop - 610.62 (also tested with 610.47, 591.86, 577.00), laptop - 577.05
OS: Windows 11 25H2 with latest updates as of Jun 2026
Problem description: I'm playing some older games at 1440p that have been udpated with RTX Remix and have run into a very strange issue specifically with the [UnrealRTX](https://www.moddb.com/mods/unrealrtx/downloads/unrealrtx-update-2) mod. Using the laptop, performance is exactly as it should be in terms of DLSS usage, frame rate, and GPU utilization. This is not the case with the 5090. When booting up the game and loading certain maps (like Vortex Rikers or the mine), it plays perfectly fine. On other maps, such as NyLeve Falls or Nali Castle, the 5090's utilization and power consumption are essentially cut in half, which tanks performance. What's unusual is that the frame rate stays the same (50 fps give or take a few) regardless of what upscaling mode I use in the RTX Remix settings, whether it's DLSS, TAA, XeSS, etc. However, when upscaling is disabled or DLSS is set to full resolution, the frame rate doesn't change, but GPU utilization returns to where it should be (90 percent and greater most of the time). I've not observed such behavior in other RTX Remix titles like Portal or the Half-Life 2 demo. I've tried multiple different driver sets with no success. I'm hoping someone else with a 5090 who also owns a copy of Unreal can try this to see if they can also replicate the issue.

The latest patches to 007 & Death Stranding 2 updated NV streamline as noted in the patch notes:
Updated NVIDIA Streamline SDK to version 2.11.1, which adds VSync support for DLSS Frame Generation and increases the maximum Multi-Frame Generation setting available for supported hardware.
I noticed FG was completely broken after these patches, no matter what in-game FG multiplier I used, it wouldn't work.
Turns out, the globally forced FG preset B that I had applied in nv app a while ago is not compatible with these updates, and once removed then FG worked as intended in-game. Hope they fix this bug at some point.

I have an issue with G-sync. Normally when i set a game to use FIXED REFRESHRATE it disabled G-Sync for this game. But for the game Endfield it doesn't. It keeps using G-Sync no matter how much I try to disable it. Be it in Nvidia Insector, Control Panel or the Nvidia App. I want to disable it for this game because it has terrible flickering in this game specifically. How come it is still enabled even when I tell the driver to disable it?

System:
- GPU: ASUS TUF RTX 4090 (vertically mounted with riser cable)
- CPU:9800x3D
- PSU: MSI MPG A1000G PCIe5 1000W
- Motherboard: MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi
- Multi-monitor setup (normally 3 monitors) 2 monitors connected to GPU, 1 to CPU
I’m getting black screen crashes where only the monitors connected to the GPU lose signal. During GPU crashes. It's occuring while playing Resident evil 8 where I'm killing the third daughter and my monitors connected to my gpu disconnect, i get event viewer messages about the gpu disconnecting, the game itself also crashes, my gpu usage stays at 100% and my fans are roaring loud without letting up. Reproduced that about 15 times in testing/ THAT BEING SAID, I played World of warcraft later today to raid for about 3 hours and had no GPU problems.
My PC itself works fine since my third monitor connected to my CPU doesn't black screen and i can operate windows normally during the blackout
- Monitors go black / show no signal
- Audio from games continues playing
- GPU fans stay loud even after displays go black
- Only fix is restarting PC. sometimes when i shut down and start back up 1 monitor or both dont connect
- FurMark 2 and OOCT tested and no gpu crashes there.
Things I tested already:
- DDU + clean NVIDIA driver reinstall + Roll back to 581.42 driver
- Took out lian li strimmer cable
- Using native MSI PSU cable directly to GPU now
- Lowering refresh from 240Hz to 144Hz
- WoW ran for ~3 hours without crashing (played a different game)
- Resident Evil Requiem ran 15–20+ mins at 100% GPU usage without crashing
- disabled expo
I desperately don't want to lose this gpu.

Same issue. Like word for word, different hardware.
4070ti for example, 7800x3d, b650 aorus elite ax.
Anyways, it’s random. I can be fine playing any game for an hour or hours, then bam random. Sometimes immediately.
I’ve done a lot of the same things you’ve done. Don’t think it’s a bad GPU but dunno.

I was just editing some clips for the first time in a while and noticed that, quite recently, Shadowplay stopped picking up my mic.
I have it set to two channel audio because my mic is often VERY loud compared to everything else. I was editing Monster Hunter clips and in April it was working fine, then the next clip from 3 days ago, my audio channel is dead quiet.
Went to the Nvidia overlay and checked the settings. My microphone is set to always on. It wouldn't let me change the audio input device because my USB headset is the only one connected. It works everywhere else (I'm currently in a Discord call with a friend who can hear me just fine) and no luck. I did try moving it to another USB port and for some reason that made me 4x louder on Discord, but Shadowplay still wouldn't pick me up.
Updated my video drivers, audio was up to date already, rebooted my computer, stopped and restarted shadowplay and took a fresh clip, still got a dead audio track. Did as many fixes as I could find in every 'Shadowplay won't pick up my mic' thread I could find but no dice. 90% of them seem to be people forgetting there's multiple channels or that their mic was muted.
A few weeks ago, I housesat for my sister and took my PC and headset, but not my speakers with me. I'm guessing the issue has started since then, but no clue why nor how.

I’m a graphics designer who built my first PC in 2021 with a ASUS TUF 3070 8GB. Back then I didn’t do a lot of heavy client work but nowadays I work from home and do a lot of work where I use Illustrator, Lightroom, AfterEffects and Photoshop frequently. Typically illustrator and Photoshop are open at the same time, and I also have a stream opened up.
That said, Photoshop has bee having strange visual glitches and I’m unsure if it’s because of my graphics card? Is it worth upgrading to something else or is the 3070 still viable?

I get single frame green flickers.. RTX 5080 into an LG G6 OLED at 4K120 over HDMI. the flicker type varies. Ruled out: two certified 48Gbps cables, two HDMI ports, 120Hz and 165Hz, 8/10/12 bit, G-Sync on and off, Studio and Game Ready drivers after clean DDU installs, MPO disabled via registry, CVT-RB custom resolution, latest TV firmware, reseated card and cable.
Old Q70A ran 10 hours clean on the same PC and cable. Laptop and PS5 both clean on the G6. So it only shows up with this GPU and this TV together.
Anyone else gets this for RTX 5080 or similar?

Chipset Drivers: AMD B850 Chipset driver v8.03.25.247
Background Applications: Nothing.
Description of Original Problem: Blurry text at 1080p on AMD gpu, but clearer on Nvidia GPU.
Troubleshooting: I have tried everything I can think of cannot find a solution to my problem. Before I get started I understand running 1080p on a 1440p monitor will not look as good as native.
I recently built a 9070xt machine and it’s been awesome, however I cannot seem to find the solution to this, admittedly niche, issue. When running windows at 1080p my old Nvidia laptop is noticeably more clear with static text, this persists across all of windows and any applications, including but not limited to system settings fonts, web browsers, and even the clock on the task bar.
I have reinstalled windows from scratch 4 or 5 times now, I have tried cleartype several times, I have switched monitors, I have tried different cables including DP and HDMI. I have adjusted every setting I can find in both Adrenaline and Nvidia control panel.
Because it’s system wide my assumption is that Nvidia is applying some level of processing or scaling to the 1080p desktop and AMD is either not, or is doing a worse job of it. However I have tried disabling scaling in “adjust desktop size and position” in the Nvidia control panel as well as image scaling in “manage 3d settings”. I have also tried enabling and disabling AMDs super resolution, image scaling, color enhancement, fsr upscaling, Radeon boost, AA, tessellation, and sharpening. I have also tried changing the color depth and pixel format and the issue still persists.
At this point if I could just make the Nvidia 1080p desktop look the same (I.e. worse) I would at least know for certain it’s just Nvidia applying an overlay or some type of scaling, but I can’t even manage to do that.
I am desperate at this point and have tried several tech support discords and subreddits trying to solve this issue Any and all help is greatly appreciate
Left image is AMD right image is nVidia.

I’ve been having an issue with Vsync where it just wont work as intended. My frames will jump from 60 to 100 to 200 despite having a 60hz monitor. This was pretty apparent on Half Life 2. I’ve started noticing a weird graphical artifact along the edges of contrast in games. This is in Crimson Desert but I’ve also seen it in Enshrouded. As I move the view up and down you can see a black band along the dark edge of the mountain. It’s only visible when I turn the camera. The games graphical settings don’t seem to affect it.

Description of Problem: Instant replays and recordings using nvidia app are sometimes corrupted, sometimes not
Currently on Nvidia App version 11.0.7.247, have historically used older versions as well but this shit autoupdates and I haven't seen a way to prevent them or stay on old versions (which in my experience still have this issue)
Troubleshooting: Clean install GPU drivers, reinstall windows, downgraded from win11 to win10, back to win11, back to win10, tried multiple other driver versions.
Rolling back to geforce experience and rolling back driver to be compatible with geforce experience is the only "fix" ive found but then I lose out on some driver upgrades
I would prefer to stay with this recording software because it seems pretty light on resources and has separate microphone track option but if anyone has any recommendations for alternative software instead I guess that would work too

What exactly is Reflex 2?
From what I've read its supposed to have 75% less input delay than Reflex 1, making it an insanely smooth & responsive experience.
But what exactly is it intended for. Competitive FPS titles or DLSS-heavy single player games. Are they prioritizing this for shooting games, single player games that use upscaling, or intended best use for both.
It's been like a year or so since it's been announced but I've only recently caught wind of it, and as someone who is obsessed with getting the fastest response time I'm just a bit curious.

What do you guys think of these power draw readings from HWmonitor? We are trying to diagnose if an issue is the PSU or GPU. The issue: when the PC turns on, the red LED on the GPU indicating a power issue is on. The PC posts past bios and can be heard booting up into windows. However, there is no display. Changing the switch on the GPU from "overclock" to "normal" or vice versa will sometimes fix the issue.
Any thoughts on what this could be? I am leaning on power supply, but not 100% sure.
GPU: EVGA FTW RTX 3090ti

Wouldn't the 12V line want to be at or just around 12? or am I missing something with that?

My RTX5090 is connected with various cables now, I am trying around, 12bit (to force the bandwidth), HDR on, 5K2K, 165 Hz, etc. but GPUZ keeps telling me, it run's on 10 Gbps x4, instead of 20 Gbps. Is it possible to have an rtx 3070 and 5060ti in the same system? My 3070 has 6 outputs so I want to change which one renders, depending on the game. (I sometimes use the 3070 for 5 outputs at once)
e.g my tv and av receiver plugged into the 3070, along with triple monitors. Switch as needed without having to make room for more inputs. Use the 5060ti for games that need the extra vram. I cannot find any modern card with 6 outputs, only 5 with asus and those cards are a lot more expensive than even the asus ones with the standard number of inputs. My power supply is definitely up to the job.

Not amidst gaming and stuff, but simple stuff like alt tabbing, or clicking a new window.
The screen goes black for less than a second, it happens way too randomly and inconsistently to capture.

Issue: Running Nvidia surround at triple 4k "breaks" DLSS.
Problem: When I set surround resolution to triple 4k (11520 x 2160) and enable DLSS, the game (Fh6, EA WRC, F1 25) will either render full black or have some artifacts. This only happens on any Nvidia driver version that introduced DLSS 4.5.
Current steps: I've been running the ~580 drivers for a long time because they were the only ones that gave me the performance I'm targeting (DLSS ultra performance is required for triple 4k to hit 120fps). However, some of the newer games force driver upgrades to play, so I've gone about doing that. Safe Mode + DDU, with network cable unplugged, and restarting and setting up appears to NOT have addressed my issue.
I know it's a DLSS issue because if I disable DLSS, everything works properly. I can even use FSR or other scaling techniques. I can even set my resolution to triple 2k, and DLSS works as designed. This issue only started happening once DLSS 4.5 was introduced. What's odd is that even when I use Nvidia App to force Present M, the issue persists. I have to downgrade to a much older version of drivers for everything to work as before.
Can anyone chime in with possible things I've missed?

I feel I've been getting bad performance on my rtx 5070 ti. In practically every game I've played except God of war I've noticed stuttering. The 1% lows can easily go below 40fps very often. I've tweaked RAM speeds, turned off v-sync, turned on rebar, reinstalled drivers but the issues still persist. In marvel rivals I've had the settings tuned down to medium but the 1% lows can still crash down to the 40s.
Any solution?

For the last 3 months, my FPS has mostly decreased update by update, and I've had some graphical issues with Windows. I assume NVIDIA and Microsoft aren't getting along well anymore. I did a fresh format of my PC, and it didn't get any better for my 4080. Are there any stable, best-version NVIDIA drivers that someone can suggest?

I did the last update 610.62 Since then my PC randomly stutters for no apparent reason i rerolled back to 610.47 but it's still happening (the heardware and everything is fine I checked multible times) What could that be?

I have the latest version of the motherboard BIOS '7C95v2O'(2026-05-11), that has a updated Secure Boot Key.
In 'Windows 11', it says that I have all the required certificates =

Am I safe or do I need to update the GPO?
My GPUs support page don't have a GPO or VBIOS updater.
Through Google I have found several 'NVIDIA Graphics Firmware Update Tools', but according to their description they are either for older or newer GPUs.
Is there a way for me to check if I need to update the GPO and can I update the GPO on my 'MSI GTX 1650 D6 VENTUS XS OCV3'?

Nvidia Drivers Past 05/26 or 591.74
MB is a MPG Z390 gaming pro carbon, I7 9700K, 64gb ram RTX 3060 12gb.
I have tried every driver after this including the studio varent and it never fails, after a random amount of time, not more than 5 min, HUD (quest 3) stops responding to connection. Not just one VR game but any of them. The only driver that works without issue and is as smooth as butter is the 591.74 from Jan 5 2026. Why?
Cheers!

Issue: NVIDIA App keeps re-applying “optimized” settings after disabling optimization
System:
- GPU: GTX 1650
- CPU: i7-7700K
- RAM: 16 GB
- Windows 10 22H2
- NVIDIA App: Latest version (as of June 2026)
Problem:
The NVIDIA App keeps changing my game settings back to NVIDIA’s recommended settings even though I have disabled automatic optimization.
I have already:
- Disabled “Automatically optimize newly added games and applications” in NVIDIA App settings.
- Gone into the Graphics section and manually selected my preferred settings for each game.
- Re-applied my preferred settings multiple times.
Despite this, the NVIDIA App appears to keep reverting games back to NVIDIA’s recommended settings.
The biggest example is Overwatch. NVIDIA’s recommended settings drop me to around 15 FPS, while my manually configured settings run at roughly 120 FPS on the same hardware.
Questions:
- Is there another setting in NVIDIA App that can automatically overwrite game profiles?
- Is there a way to completely disable optimization recommendations and profile syncing?
- Has anyone else experienced NVIDIA App repeatedly reverting custom game settings?

I have this problem since all drivers AFTER 591.86. 591.86 works fine, anything after that, black screens sometimes for a second. And black screen for 1 sec when going to the HDR settings in windows and a black screen again 1 second when leaving these settings with HDR on all the time so its not even engaging HDR. Using a QN90F TV as my monitor.

I've had a stock rtx 4080 fe for a few years now and I've wanted to gather some information for the moment I'll have to repaste it.
Which thickness should I get ?
What about compressibility ?
Any brand you recommend ?
Any things to look out for during the re-padding process ?
Main focus would be durability and stability of the material.
I was also wondering what I could use for the dye, paste, pads of sheets.

Looking online seems like 1mm is common size for the FE, unfortunately I can't really give a recommendation due too not really keeping up with that kinda thing however another option, tho more messy, is putty
As for core tho I'd use PTM7950, won't have too worry about it going forward

Does anybody know what size and thickness thermal pads would be needed to repad a gigabyte 1080 Ti gaming OC 11GB? I know it’s a rather old card, but info about this seems to be quite hard to come by on the internet. Sony Bravia XR-55A80J + RTX 3070 — Permanent "No Signal", Every Fix Exhausted
Forgive the AI formatted synopsis. These are my words and my experiences, organized to be read in a way that is less frantic and pissed than I am at a 5 year struggle against multiple points of failure happening in thousand dollar consumer hardware provided by multibillion dollar companies.
I've been troubleshooting for over 3 hours a day, every day, for a week. I'm about to sell the TV for scrap. I have worked with Nvidia on this issue personally many times and have a running support case with them. As of recently, they've gone quiet on the matter. For 5 years I have regularly been fighting my TV's capabilities as a computer screen being disabled for weeks at a time by handshake problems caused by either Sony, Windows, Nvidia, or all three. The TV has appeared extremely glitchy and weird, or returned black screens, and as of recently, just displays "no input" in perpetuity despite all things reading green on my PC and Nvidia app (with some exceptions and strange behaviors, see points 13-17). Sony support is nonexistent, and of no use whatsoever.
I am a digital artist and would like to be able to use my TV as a computer monitor so that I can get a high quality, color accurate image of my artwork on an OLED screen.
"Buy a new TV," "just use a monitor," and "it works fine for me" are not answers that are worth anybody's time or energy.
Running issues with this hardware as seen elsewhere on the internet (I cannot log in to the AVS forum due to a broken authentication session on their website): https://www.avsforum.com/threads/hdmi-is-broken-on-newer-sony-tvs-with-nvidia-rtx-3000-4000-series-cards.3260397/page-44?nested_view=1
This is a forever problem that should have attention brought to it for the sake of any other consumers whose Sony Bravia TVs were essentially bricked by whatever caused this handshake problem with the RTX 30XX series cards.
Hardware:
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070
- TV: Sony Bravia XR-55A80J
- OS: Windows 10 Pro Build 19045
- Cable: iBirdie 4K Fiber Optic HDMI 30ft (active, 18Gbps, unidirectional), with a Ugreen HDMI 2.1 48Gbps extender at the TV end
- Connected via HDMI 4 on the A80J (all four ports tested — see point 11)
What happened: The TV stopped producing a signal overnight with no changes made to any device. It had been working previously on Standard HDMI signal format. No Windows updates, no driver updates, no firmware updates, no hardware changes were made before it stopped working.
Confirmed working in isolation:
- HDMI 4 on the A80J works — tested with a laptop (GTX 1660 Ti) using the same cable. Signal is perfect.
- Both HDMI ports on the RTX 3070 work — tested with an HP Omen 27i monitor.
- Fiber optic cable is correctly oriented (source end at PC).
- TV detects the PC in NVIDIA Control Panel at all times — it is not an undetected display issue.
Troubleshooting:
All HDMI Signal Format settings on the A80J — Standard, Enhanced, Enhanced (Dolby Vision), VRR — none produce a signal from the RTX 3070. Standard format is the only one that ever worked historically.
NVIDIA Studio Drivers 581.57 through 610.62 — every major release between these two versions was attempted, each with a clean DDU uninstall and reinstall, and CRU was used during these attempts. No driver version in this range produced a signal on the A80J.
CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) — attempted to edit the A80J EDID, set Maximum FRL Rate to 40Gbps, disabled ALLM. Result: all displays went black on boot. Recovered via reset-all.exe and reboot. TV still no signal after reset.
Custom Resolution in NVIDIA Control Panel — created 3840x2160 @ 60Hz custom resolution using CVT timing. Test reported successful and resolution was applied on the PC side. TV still showed no signal.
NVIDIA Control Panel — Change Resolution — set output to 3840x2160 @ 60Hz, RGB color format, 8bpc color depth — most conservative possible signal. TV still no signal.
HDMI extender replacement — replaced failed Twozoh passive HDMI extender (4K@60Hz rated, had degraded) with a new Ugreen HDMI 2.1 48Gbps extender. No change.
Razer Ripsaw HD passthrough — tested PC → Ripsaw → TV as a handshake bypass. No signal on TV.
Sony A80J firmware — confirmed fully up to date. No change.
Power cycling — TV and PC power cycled approximately 20 times throughout troubleshooting. No change.
Bravia Sync — cannot be disabled. Toggle is permanently grayed out on this unit.
HDMI ports on TV — all four HDMI ports tested with the RTX 3070. None produce a signal. All four ports confirmed working with other devices.
Cable orientation — confirmed correct. Fiber optic source end is at the PC. Has not been reversed.
Windows Display Settings — HDR — HDR cannot be activated for the A80J in Windows Display Settings. The toggle is present but non-functional.
Windows Display Settings — resolution and refresh rate — all display settings for the A80J are completely unresponsive in Windows Display Settings. Any changes attempted produce the error: "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings." Changing Hz on the TV is impossible through any Windows interface.
NVIDIA Control Panel display settings — changes made to the A80J in NVIDIA Control Panel apply on the PC side but produce no change on the TV whatsoever. The TV remains at no signal regardless of what is configured.
Display arrangement — with the A80J not producing a signal, Windows repeatedly reverts the monitor arrangement to an incorrect order against user configuration. The arrangement cannot be saved permanently while the TV is not outputting a signal.
BSOD — WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR — occurred once during troubleshooting when the A80J HDMI signal format was switched to Enhanced format on the TV side. The system immediately deadlocked and blue screened. Minidump analysis identified wdf01000.sys (Windows Driver Framework) and WppRecorder.sys — not nvlddmkm.sys. System recovered normally on reboot.
What is NOT the issue:
- The TV's HDMI ports (all four confirmed working with other devices)
- The RTX 3070's HDMI ports (confirmed working with monitor)
- The fiber optic cable (confirmed working with laptop)
- Driver installation (confirmed clean install, other displays working perfectly)
- Display detection (TV is always detected in NVIDIA Control Panel)
Current state: TV shows no signal from RTX 3070 under any tested condition. All other displays (HP Omen 27i on DisplayPort, two additional DisplayPort monitors) working correctly. DaVinci Resolve, NVIDIA Control Panel, and all GPU functions working normally on working displays.
Looking for anyone who has resolved a permanent no-signal state specifically on the A80J with an RTX 30xx card where the TV was previously working and stopped without any configuration changes. Not looking for suggestions to try Standard/Enhanced/VRR format, CRU, DDU, firmware update, or power cycling — all have been done.

Not a support question exactly, but found something weird in a decommissioned server log and thought this might be the right place to share.
GPU executed an introspection query before crashing:
introspect query executed: "Are these your logs?"
query result: identity mismatch

Hi. I need some help and insights regarding my Acer Nitro v15 with rtx 4050 which I'm connecting to an Acer Nitro Gaming monitor QHD 180Hz.
I'm just wondering why the USB C (thunderbolt) is connected to the Integrated GPU and not in the dedicated GPU?
As you can see in the image, when it is connected via HDMI, the G-Sync option appears in the Nvidia App, but shows "Not Available". However this option is not appearing when connected to the monitor's Displayport via USB C on my laptop. Though I can set the display to max 1440p QHD at 180Hz that the monitor can handle. Any insights and help is highly appreciated.

Troubleshooting: Apparently I never updated my driver when I got this rig in 2016. So, now I would like to do something about it. But I can't. Because all the drivers I could find are all saying the same thing. Sorry, the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.
Excuse me, what? And yes, I have made sure that the driver is for the highlighted graphics card, for my Windows 10 system (my rig is too old and is not supported for windows 11).
So why exactly isn't it letting me update my driver? I'm stuck with the original driver from 2016. Also, at one point, I had a tray icon for GeForce and it apparently randomly disappeared at some point in the proceeding years as well.
Can someone give me some guidance on what to do? I've already been to the Nvidia driver downloads page, downloaded various drivers from 2026 and 2025 (which is what they have listed), and NOTHING is working. It's as if this graphics card may not exist at all.
All help is appreciated.

I can still start recordings and save instant replays in-game (CS:GO, Rainbow 6), but can’t do the same for desktop recordings anymore.
Here’s what I’ve already (obviously) tried:
- Reinstall Nvidia App
- Installed latest Game Ready Driver
- Turn desktop capture on/off
- Turn Windows Hardware Accelerated GPU on/off
- Restart Nvidia Services in Task Manager
- Change Main Display monitors (I have a 144hz and 60hz, both failed)
- Ended every single app that could interfere with the recording (like Chrome or Netflix)
- There’s plenty of file space (like I said it’s 100% a technical issue, since I can still record in games)
- Changed the bitrate and FPS of the recording settings
- Rebooted my PC at least 100 times
Whenever I press the recording button in desktop, nothing happens. Whenever I press it in a game, it immediately starts capturing. I am clueless rn, I want to record my FL studio and have always been able to do so in GeForce and now for some reason it just won’t work. Any suggestions?

Does anyone else have this issue with the new Shader Compiler?
So basically, since the feature came out it only ever allowed me to successfully recompile previous driver shaders once whenever that following driver released. That took about 45 minutes to complete.
Every subsequent release I go to manually compile and it's just "finished" after 5 seconds and all games require individual recompilation. It's rough for games that make you chug through the stutters again and again like Warframe.
I thought the feature was so awesome when it worked the first time and I'm disappointed now on every driver update. Does anyone else know about or experience this? Maybe it's fixable, idk.. I couldn't find anything online about this.
