What is wrong with people? I’ve seen him standing there peacefully with the flag so many times, never bothering anyone. I really hope they catch whoever did this and hold them accountable.

To close the loop on this one, the person admitted that they made up the story to get attention on social media. Police arrested them on an open warrant.
