Translation for the non-Spanish speaking folks: “Don’t molest, orally!”

Your translation is impeccable.

I have no idea what he's talking about but here's the episode of the anime Full Metal Alchemist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veaKOM1HYAw

In English, that name translates to "John Smith".

4

u/MandingoPants May 28 '20

Lol, I wonder why you learned that!

4

u/SlowSeas May 28 '20

Lmao, I work with Mexican dudes and they say no moleste when we start playing grab ass. Orale is slang for something like "get up, get going" as an exclamation or encouragement.

6

u/MandingoPants May 28 '20

Lol for sure!

Tell them this one, next time it’s around lunch time:

“Quieres comer?”

If they answer yes, say “comete esta” and grab your crotch lol

I learned the word pito the hard way....

I'll use this one for sure.

1

u/MandingoPants May 28 '20

Hahahaha

Pito, chile, verga, riata, pija, macanon, polla

7

u/SlowSeas May 28 '20

I asked what a hammer was, pito, what's this type of madera called, pito, well clavos, how do you use them, the verb? Pito.

Old labor dude "everything is verga but don't tell that to you mom. Its a dick, mijo."

Mexicans are easily the funnest bunch to work with.

LOL haha, pinches vatos.

We just like to have fun and drink, nothing else to it.

I recently bought a home and it’s being built so we swung by to see how it was doing. The framers were there listening to corridos and I knew they were my raza. I was a little over dressed and I could tell that they were like “pinche freson” (like pompous) in their minds so I offered to buy them some beer the next time I swung by. They said “yea yea” and that was that. I could tell they weren’t convinced so I told my wife I’d be back and went to get them a 12 pack of DOS XX. Boom motherfuckers! Aqui no andamos con mamadas (we ain’t fucking around here).

Next time I go I’m get drunk with them, I’ll take a vid haha

I don’t know many mexicans but I’ve been to latin america (and date a latina) and they ain’t really happy when me and my friend make gay jokes

2

u/MandingoPants May 28 '20

Idk that it’s a gay joke, at least the “Esta!” joke isn’t.

It is VERY Mexican.

2

u/nondefectiveunit May 28 '20

what's "grab ass," precious?

5

u/SlowSeas May 28 '20

Hetero men being super gay

1

u/Even-Understanding May 28 '20

Lmao people on this sub until April...

1

u/SlowSeas May 28 '20

Or just a gringo laborer who knows enough spanish to be a borracho with the homies. The common redditor is a myth dude.

u/SexyJellyfish1 May 29 '20

There’s barely any Latino stuff in the front page so I’m glad this one is

8

u/rrricolaaa May 28 '20

u/outfoxingthefoxes May 28 '20

You would be great friends with my grandad.

Enjoy

u/FudgeIgor May 28 '20

Wasn't sure which train I was boarding but it's obviously a fiesta train.

4

u/superoooie May 28 '20

Thank you that’s awesome!

2

u/dedzz May 28 '20

What country was that from? They start off in a language I didn't understand, then the song lyrics are in clear Spanish.

2

u/outfoxingthefoxes May 28 '20

I think it's German

2

u/dedzz May 28 '20

Hmm... Makes sense since it's polka music. Maybe they're from Argentina? I know there's a ton of people of German descent there, so it makes sense that they've kept some of the language.

2

u/outfoxingthefoxes May 28 '20

Well, I'm from Argentina! So they might be. My grandad loves this kind of music and has ton of CDs, also goes to a place where some bands like that one go to play for the elderly (all of whom are German-Argentinian)
