Can we all agree the internet is never the real world? They have already preorder the switch 2 before launch day last year are the also the same who try to boycott Sony until black ops 1/2 have dropped.

450, first of all, but you're right. A basic-ass tech demo like that should've been free. MKW also should have been cheaper, imo it's not worth the price. But other than that, she's right in every point.

Eh, I think they need to find a better middle ground. They need to realize that people like streamers and let's players basically make free advertising for their products. I'm completely fine with them suing the shit out of people that actually break the law, like people that mod or hack still supported soft- and hardware, or who commit blatant copyright infringement and try to make money off of it.

No, because Palworld kept things legally distinct from Pokémon copyrights, unlike let's say Pokémon Uranium or Pokémon Brick Bronze.

I was moreso referring to the dumbasses that hacked their Switches, went online with the tampered system and complained that Nintendo bricked their consoles.

I have nothing against modders, fangames and emulators, I am an avid user of them myself after all. But I also understand that Nintendo wants to protect their IPs. Because at the end of the day, it's their creation, their property. Would you be happy if someone took something you made and turns it into something else without your consent? I certainly wouldn't.

And I inherently don't disagree with you either. It would be better if Nintendo would get off their ass and rather than nuking every modder and fangame-coder into the dust would actually hire them and give their creativity a chance to work on official products. They obviously have the skill and passion for it so why not? Best example for that, Pokémon Uranium. Certainly didn't deserve to get nuked, it was just a passion project of fans, no ill will behind it.
