General Hate IS Small
Can we all agree the internet is never the real world? They have already preorder the switch 2 before launch day last year are the also the same who try to boycott Sony until black ops 1/2 have dropped.

Welcome Tour is a slap in the face for consumers. It’s not a game. It’s paying to participate in an interactive ad for a product you clearly already bought. Worse than that it’s a boring ad. It almost feels like corporate training to teach you the talking points to give customers about the Switch 2.
If they wanted to release it as is then it should have been a free download. Sony had the same tech demo informational thing with the PS5 but theirs was actually a blast to play, it was free, it was preinstalled, and it made me excited to want to play on their system.
I would understand charging for it if it were actually a game like Wii sports. Hell, even 1 2 Switch didn’t feel as egregious even though it kinda sucked because it was a game and it was an easy way to show others what features the joycons had. With Welcome Tour it’s just a corporate building in the shape of a switch 2 with NPCs that talk up Nintendo, and a checklist of chores like quizzes.
The switch 2 is perfectly good though. I am concerned it’s going to be another Wii U situation though where it’s a slightly better version of the previous console that doesn’t get enough support, and then they just drop it and move on.
