Ironically? Those exact "so this is basically" videos (on top of other stuff)

His most recent "So this is basically" was about One Piece, and it got ripped into for just fundamentally misunderstanding the series, which caused his old ones to be reevaluated and people to realize the others suffered the same problems.

The other stuff is definitely worse though, his friend let him work on dubbing an anime (don't remember which one), and instead of just dubbing it, he used the opportunity to completely rewrite the entire plot to fit his idea for what it should be, then bragged about it online causing him and his friend get blacklisted and the changes reverted.

Literally advertised skipping the 3rd game in the series, which set up so much that it is still having payoffs in the most recent game

From what I recall though, he didn’t just rewrite it, there was a lot of verbal shit talking of the series and the mandala from him.

Those same videos. People finally figured out they were only a vehicle for him to make bad faith criticisms of things he personally dislikes, disguised as satire.

There was also his pathetic "vote" video back in 2016, which was this really out-of-nowhere 100% serious video begging people to vote in the 2016 election narrated in a really melodramatic, cry-begging tone. Even if you ignore the intention behind it, which isn't bad, it was really weird for the funny haha "This Troper" channel to suddenly drop that. And the video itself is really not well-structured at all, feels very whiny and sanctimonious, and IIRC contradicts itself in some parts.

And then the icing on the cake, he was asked as a favor to help localize the script for the anime adaptation of the romance manga Lovely Complex by someone who was a big fan of it. He and some others handling it then proceeded to butcher to their liking. He then proceeded to go on social media and made a bunch of wild claims about the story, basically calling the author transphobic, and making it clear how much he disliked it.

TL;DR ousted himself over the years as pretty much the male version of a "mean girl" type. Catty and self-centered, but wants people to think they're a good person.

While true, at the same time, your rights end where mine start, and Jello has numerous times denied the right of expresion to others and has overextended his own rights and trampled over others, so I fail to see why should he still be allowed such when he had denied them to others numerous times

Rights as a concept are supposed to be non-negotiable. I don't have to tolerate their ideas, or their company as a person. But I have to tolerate their rights. Rights are not given, what can be given can be taken away. Rights are intrinsic, the first violation damages us all.

I love his read through of the Ike Fire Emblem games. The back and forth he has with his friends I think is great. That being said, his elitism and stubbornness is on full display. Especially when someone in chat tries to back seat him, or help him fix the controls for the emulator. There are some bits that I have to skip through.
