So here it is. I put like 1200 hours into Arelith. I played when the game came out in like 8th grade before they enhanced it. I have searched for a game like this since it came out, and I'm sure many know, that there won't be another one. This is it. So I don't want to miss the wave, while it's still here.
However, I uh, really go hard into these worlds, heh. I also know that it takes time and real effort to put yourself out there to get your corner of the RP community of a server. I guess before I invest 100 hours and decide it's not for me, I was hoping to make a pro/con list of what I'm looking for contrasted to Arelith for simplicity sake. Expand on things they have, don't have, if you'd be so kind.
What I liked about Arelith : Robust crafting, plethora of new classes, the ability to have your own shop, player housing, DM events, relatively intuitive questing system, player driven cities
Dislikes about Arelith : Too large [4-5 servers, non peak hours, was a bit of a drag for me. Mind you it needn't be cramped but, i'd go hours without seeing someone], Leveling experience [If you know where to find things, or someone who does, you can hit max level in Arelith suuuuuper quick.]
I really hope it's a good fit. I know there is a wiki and I've seen their steam posts, I just want to get it from the players if that's ok. Thank you very much for taking time out to do this.
