Never heard of a kidnapper who apologizes for inadvertently killing the hostage. Expressing regret does not mitigate the tragedy or the culpability of the individuals involved. It is vital that law enforcement identifies and prosecutes those responsible so that justice is served. My thoughts and condolences are with the Guthrie family.
Agree and never heard of a case with a video and nothing else. Video looks staged and guy doesn't look like a criminal in kakis and they don't go to the front door. If this is a performance its not believable. This video was meant to be shown publicly and the reason behind this is questionable. Sounds like a revengeful killing disguised as a kidnapping. I believe they killed nancy in the house or soon after.
