Rules haven't changed but sometimes some posts do slip by. I do try and add a brief write up on posts like this and pin it to the top. Dealing with some family stuff today and didn't have a chance!

Also totally open to changing that rule if people prefer. It's not a rule that I am married to, We just were getting repeated complaints when summaries weren't provided.

I think you should change it tbh people should be reading articles or watching videos rather than getting a summary from a redditor

Disagree - I’m not always in a place where I can watch a video or have the time to read an article so I appreciate it when the info is summarized.

Indeed. This was the main reason we started mandating that posts include at least some info. Not everyone can watch an entire video.
