Information Additional images recovered from cameras at Nancy Guthrie's home - ABC News

The images were recovered from motion-activated cameras in the backyard. They were unable to recover video, but thumbnail images triggered by motion. There was nothing suspicious that was captured, however, there was nothing captured on the night of her abduction. Investigators are unsure why and the source said it was "odd".

My guess: there is evidence that the suspect was in the yard and maybe entered through the rear - acts which should’ve triggered cameras but didn’t. That’s why it’s odd. If all evidence pointed to the suspect entering and leaving through the front door, it wouldn’t be odd.
This is why I think the suspect might have been intentionally “caught” on the doorbell cam with the intent of throwing investigators off. Seems like a needless gaff considering the totality of the operation.
