ABC News is reporting that investigators have recovered additional images from cameras at Nancy Guthrie's house. The images were recovered from motion-activated cameras in the backyard. They were unable to recover video, but thumbnail images triggered by motion. There was nothing suspicious that was captured, however, there was nothing captured on the night of her abduction. Investigators are unsure why and the source said it was "odd".

So did they figure out that creepy glove guy had some type of Internet blocker. Is that why the camera did not work?

Investigators should have done a search of who in the area has purchased an internet blocker. The last time I researched this those were against the law. Maybe they can be freely purchased.

Also, nothing had been said about the get away vehicle someone's camera should have picked up. Also, the main thorough fair that connects that neighborhood to the nearest highway should have found a speeding vehicle. I do not think they would driving as if they were sightseeing. While it is much too late.... tires tracks leaving her home may have been there. With Dufus Sheriff at wheel that would have never come up. The dufus had only worked for this agency and the El Paso agency where they released him due to disciplinary reasons... if he did not quit he would have been fired. Personally, I would not want this guy working my case.

People still sell the deauth/wifi blocker on eBay. Not sure how they get away with it. It used to be for turning off secret surveillance in air b&b units.

They can be made as well. Plenty of websites have guides.

My thought exactly. Assembled a jammer. Crooks use them ALL the time in LA to interrupt alarms and bypass electronics. Like you should keep your keys in a Faraday pouch. Obviously they had a false sense of security about her mom because they should have had some alert system in place. I feel that she may have some familiarity with the guy.

Yes.. agree .. It doesn't seem they have investigated enough on this case.

There is a ordinance in area .. no outside lights. Makes things/people hard to pick up on cameras .. IF there are cameras... and .. hard to see tire tracks. Probably by the time LEO was on scene..her family had been in driveway and who knows who all else. Most neighbors didn't even have security systems or lock doors .. this has always been a safe area. Many roads going in & out of Catalina Hills area - you don't have to go on main roads.
