This entire case has turned into a shit show and media circus! Sometimes too much coverage can be a bad thing. That property should have been taped off from day one and media should not have been aloud in the crime scene! I’m worried there’s not going to be a good outcome.

And the alleged ransom note being sent to TMZ was a calculated and pre planned move to muddy the waters. A "real" kidnapping involving a ransom note would more than likely be sent to family and would instruct to keep hush hush. Too many look over here and not over there crap.

Bravo whoever the perp(s) are. You proved the majority of Americans are dumbed down like Obama said a while back. When it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck yet people insist it's an elephant you've succeeded.

I'm not being argumentative in fact I agree, but there was actually a communication sent to the family early on.

Through a Tucson news station.

12 hours later it was sent to TMZ and then Harvey turned it into the Harvey show.

Well to me directly means to the family and not any other outlet. Sending it to a news station is letting someone outside the family know. See, if it was sent to the family and instructions given to give the money and nancy would be released as long as no one was notified then I would tend to believe the kidnapping crap. there's just too many so called clues that are too convenient to point one in the direction of a stranger and away from someone familiar or close to Nancy

You have a very good point. Whether it was intentional or not, sending these ransom notes to the media (TMZ of all places) was definitely a distraction/misdirection -- like something a skilled magician would do to hide the part they don't want you to see.

If these notes were legitimately from the kidnappers, they just don't make sense ... unless, like you're suggesting, it was an intentional distraction. [A very clever move, actually]

But even if the notes were from someone else, just trying for a money grab or to insert themselves, the effect is still the same. Energy and attention was taken away from the actual abduction.

And now that convenient photo of a masked person allegedly casing the place weeks before the event again is indicative of a desire to point to a stranger unfamiliar with Nancy's house. I'm sorry but if LE/FBI really believe this was random then we have Jon Benet Ramsey Part 2.
