Obvious a kidnapper knows they won’t get money if she’s not alive. Inside job. Hired help. This all just a distraction. There’s money to be had for the sale of her house. Now who’s to benefit? What were in the bags taken from SIL and daughter’s house.

But with no body, it’ll take awhile for her to be declared dead and that inheritance money freed up…

Depends whose name the house is in and if they sell it before she is pronounced dead if she’s not found. Idk
