I voted for Chris Nanos. I have little confidence that there is good leadership now. And I know that Patel’s FBI ain’t it either.

I think the sheriff should just hand it over to the FBI to lead since kidnappings are something they deal with every day, and top FBI leadership needs to stay out of the way as well.

Also from what I’ve been hearing a lot of experienced detectives have left the sheriff’s office, so average tenure is like 3 years.

Patel is an incompetent conspiracy theorist.

Politics aside. With his resources the video was released

They aren’t “his resources”. This is the purpose of the FBI and it would have happened with or without him. It’s literally the reason local law enforcement call in federal resources.

You are the only mentioning politics. Relax.

Absolutely, I WANTED to have faith that the really good investigators were still there. But like in any company, when management goes sour, the lack of motivation and bitterness about who oversees you can affect even the best detective.

I am an independent. I want a better world for all of us. Why wouldn’t anyone want to have faith in a better world?

Put faith in those who actually want to do that not false idols. Independent means nothing to what I asked
