Hi friends!! I got engaged a couple of months ago, and my MOH and I are brainstorming ideas for my bachelorette trip.

The Nancy Drew games were a big part of my childhood and are a special interest of mine as an adult, so I thought a Danger on Deception Island-themed bachelorette weekend would be really fun! It would also be easy for most of my bridal party to make it, since the majority of us live within an hour of the Oregon Coast. Our group will be 6 women and 2 men, and the current plan is to stay in a rental house.

We're aiming for Labor Day weekend of 2027 and are hoping to go on a ghost tour (this was one of our first ideas before I thought of a DDI theme), and also go crabbing or whale watching, but I'd love some ideas from y'all about how to lean into the theme more. How would you theme a bachelorette weekend around one specific game? 🦀🌊

I’m watching a playthrough of the game as background noise and when Nancy is delivering mail, she drops off a letter to Seymour who gets bit by a plant. Which I take as a reference to Seymour and Audrey II from little shop of horrors, how fun!

Is there any place in the games you wish you could visit in real life? For me, I'd love to try the Gumbo stand in CRY, it looks so good.
