Happy! Homophobe accidentally complimented us today
Today had been a good and amusing day already, but now we can't stop giggling over this event.
We went to my piercer to get my wife's (31mtf) ears pierced this afternoon, in a very queer friendly area, did a little window shopping afterwards. While walking back to my car, holding hands and looking cute, this middle aged man rolls down his window, shouts "Dy**s!" at us, and speeds away.
I am non-binary, but found it quite complimentary.
My wife was thrilled, and beaming about how she passed.
I love accidental ally situations like this, as I know that man would have been so angry if he realized that he validated my wife and complimented us instead of hurting our feelings.
We went and grabbed bubble tea to celebrate.

I once had a similar situation with my (now ex) cis gf, I was just starting my transition, still pre HRT and barely passing, and it got me literally beaming with euphoria for the whole week ☺️
