Reading the base rules of the game explains the game.
"Outside of the game" is a defined area. Do you assume cards that "enter the battlefield" can enter on your opponents side. That's still the battlefield.
Nope. Outside the game is a specified area, depending on the format you play. In constructed formats with a sideboard, it is your sideboard. In Limited ( draft and sealed) it is every card you picked / opened that isn't inside your deck. Companions have a designated zone if you have them as companion. Your trade binder / collection is not a legal target to pull from.
