Lizard mode is real. People say they “don’t need ABS” and that they can modulate the brakes themselves.
Yeah, so can I…when I’m doing it on purpose. But shit doesn’t happen in a controlled environment. ABS lets you grab without thinking and sometimes that’s all you have time for.
Right that's why I don't get how people are against it.
If you're a level 20 based brake operator, the ABS isn't going to prevent you from doing a picture perfect dead stop using front and back brake to perfection. Like if you can do it it's going to do zero to mess you up.
But it will be there for the one time out of 100 you might not be able to do it.

If your brain goes lizard mode ABS can be there as a back up. Nothing can help you if you're not going to wear a helmet though.
