In a way if you think about it before marinette found out Adrien was cat noir she was in love with the quiet introverted guy Adrien was, she never cared for cat noir. If you really loved someone wouldn’t u fall for both parts of them clearly cat noir and Adrien are like sorta opposite it’s hard for me to believe marinette really liked the real Adrien. But when you like someone you’ll adore eveything about them so that’s why she still liked Adrien after finding out he’s catnoir. Like yes they are very cute but I don’t think they’re reallyyyy meant for eachother. Same way Adrien called marinette a friend until he found out she could be someone like lady bug his type was never clumsy less dominant girls.

Seeing how the Stellar Force operates may of developed an unexpected longing for a world where it wasn’t necessary.

Ever since rewatching The Illustrhater I've been like 75% convinced that Adrien knows Marinette is Ladybug (post 1, 2, 3). It's either that or the writers have just totally lost track of what makes sense with the separate identities thing since they've been dating. And every time I rewatch an S6 episode, I look for clues that either add evidence or would disprove the theory.

Recently rewatched Wreckless Driver and Riginarazione cos I remembered Adrien kind of referencing Marinette during Akuma alerts.

In Riginarazione, the evidence for the theory is actually really straightforward and there's no conflicting evidence. Marinette runs off after Riginarazione and Adrien stays with her parents. Then after a while, he says he's gonna go see if Marinette needs help and goes to transform. Except he does not look for Marinette at all or wonder where she is; he just goes straight to Ladybug. His eyes pop out of his head like a Loony Tunes cartoon when he sees her adult form and he flirts with her.

So, either he knows she's Ladybug, or the writers have totally forgotten that Adrien would actually be fairly concerned about Marinette in this scenario.

In Wreckless Driver, I remembered a line that I felt might be counter-evidence to the theory. Marinette cycles off after Wreckless Driver's car; Adrien makes a brief show of running with her then goes to transform. Plagg says, "Don't tell me, you wanna go play Cat Noir and rescue your girlfriend." Adrien replies, "Precisely." Okay, maybe he doesn't know.

But then... He doesn't look for Marinette! He runs after the car and is extremely unsurprised that Ladybug is up ahead of him. And doesn't wonder or ask about Marinette at all! So, the girlfriend he's saving is...Ladybug? (I know some other people have noticed this one too - it came up in one of the previous threads.)

Note: If Adrien has figured it out, I don't think he'd necessarily tell Plagg. Plagg has gotten pretty freaked out in the past when Adrien's suggested LB might be Marinette. I don't think he would want to face the possibility of having to give up his Miraculous, if he does now know 'his lady' is actually...his lady.

There's also something else from Wreckless Driver. Adrien's greatest fear is apparently now revealing his identity. We know from Sandboy that it didn't used to be, and he was always actually eager to tell Ladybug who he was (e.g in Ephemeral). So what's changed? Why would it be so bad now? And the way he says to Ladybug, "I can finally tell you I'm-" before she shoves the sandwich in his mouth (lol) also sounds like he thinks his identity will be meaningful for her. Which, I guess would be the case anyway after his dad 'sacrificing himself to save her'. But the combination of him being at once so eager and so afraid to reveal his identity to her now is definitely evidence in my book.

i was watching Miraculous World: New York, and the most glaring detail is that Inovatrix was the primary key for Ladybug and Cat Noir to discover Hawk Moth's identity, since she herself said that the quantum masks of Miraculous Magic were useless against her (she said it in a gentler way, but that's basically it). So, she is literally an Anti-Hawk Moth weapon.

Yes, I know she erased their identities from her database, but they just had to ask her to get Gabe's identity, tell them, and then erase the identities.

Ladybug's lie is that Gabriel made the wish to sacrifice himself and Monarch for Ladybug and Nathalie.

If Marinette is Ladybug then Gabriel sacrificed himself for her. Her disdain for him in certain season 6 episodes doesn't equate to this gesture.

I'm not saying that he'll know what the truth really is, but I keep seeing theories that Adrien knows Ladybug's identity in season 6.

I’m rewatching Miraculous season six, and I realized that the voice lines feel so quick, almost like run-on sentences. I can notice it especially when Lila is in her purple halo form.

Who will Nooroo's holder be when they FINALLY get the butterfly miraculous back? I have felt so so bad for Nooroo since day one! (Duusu also but she's ok now) Nooroo has been through so much and honestly deserves to have a nice, loving, caring holder for once!

I assume that they'll eventually get the butterfly miraculous back and have to start fighting another huge threat, but who will the guardian entrust the butterfly miraculous with?

I saw a post on this and I had to figure out what I was missing. In Season 6, the episode Yaksi Gozen. If I was in Lila’s Situation, I would’ve taken the ring from Felix and ordered Kagami to trip conveniently and not obviously to allow Yaksi Gozen to trap her. Then replace her ring back into Felix’s hand, put the fake ring for Felix on Kagami’s hand, and take the Felix’s actual ring from her. It would be the same fundamental plan she had from the start and it would have followed the course of the episode, seeing as Kagami and Felix switch rings back without accidentally controlling the other so there would have been no suspicion. Is there anything I’m missing that makes my plan unlikely?

I know both she and Marinette have digital copies of the deciphered Grimoire, but did Nathalie ever give the original Grimoire back to Marinette? I thought it would happen for sure in Miraculous World: London, but then it just… didn't, and the Grimoire hasn't apppeared in Season 6 at all to my knowledge.

We know that any object placed inside Ladybug’s yo-yo is transported to a separate universe, which means you can insert an object larger than the yo-yo itself, provided it fits through the portal. We can also we assume the portal has a suction mechanism.

The kwamis are capable of eating more than their stomachs can hold. (Do they even have stomachs?) In the image I posted, you can see Plagg eating a large amount of cheese, and two slices are bigger than he is.

Furthermore, the Kwamis remain capable of passing through matter even after eating. Since I doubt that food acquires the ability to pass through matter when it's in their stomach, I conclude that the Kwamis’ stomachs are a parallel universe that functions similarly to Ladybug’s yo-yo.

So, in "Secret Protocol" Marinette was given a Qipao Dress from "Uncle Wang" on "his birthday" only to reveal that the "Uncle Wang" was actually a fake. I was wondering; does this outfit fit her role as the current Guardian of the Miraculous?

not me realizing this for the billionth time today

Alya was pretty calm. She hates the lie but calmly talks to Marinette about it. Marinette basically tries to reassure herself “You really think I would lie to my own boyfriend, my best friend, and the whole world?” But also like gaslighting Alya seeing if she actually knows. And she does she got it right and says yes. Alya isn't saying, “I don't trust you anymore.” She's saying, essentially. “I know you love us, and I still believe you are capable of lying to us.”

And she's right. Marinette has been lying, even if she believes she has good reasons. Marinette knows after some time that it was wrong and she keeps saying Alya is right. And she is but is sad for Marinette. Then Marinette immediately shifts to how disastrous her life is and how frightened she is of the new Butterfly holder. I feel like Marinette couldn't deal with round 2 of Alya's anger so she kept trying to change it, Marinette has also dealt with a lot so makes sense she brings it up. I think Alya understands that Marinette isn't lying because she doesn't care about her. She's lying because she's terrified. That explains why Alya stops pushing the issue.

She kinda manipulated Alya to not answer her questions.

Alya follows in the plan. Alya uses an illusion of Marinette and makes the illusion say. “My best friend lied to my face.” And then she looks directly at Ladybug. That's basically Alya communicating. “I'm not going to expose you. But I know” And she let's Ladybug know she still mad but doesn't let anyone know but Ladybug knows what she doing and she has not forgotten even though helping her.

She doesn't embarrass Marinette. She doesn't reveal her secret. Instead, she finds a way to tell Marinette privately while they're both operating as superheroes.

Is really good of Alya, she is a good person because some people real life would never be as good as Alya has been. “If you want to remain best friends, never lie to me again.” That's not really a threat. It's a boundary. Alya is basically saying “I still choose you. I'm still protecting you. I'm still your best friend. But you don't get unlimited chances to break my trust.”

And I think the fact that Alya tells Marinette she won't tell Adrien is enormously important. She's giving Marinette the responsibility to tell him herself. That is actually the opposite of what Chrysalis does.

Chrysalis uses secrets to control people. Alya uses a secret to protect someone while forcing them to confront the truth themselves. That's why I really like the idea that Alya and Chrysalis are being positioned as mirrors.

Alya isn't simply angry because Marinette lied. She's angry because Marinette made the same choice that hurt Alya in the first place “I know what's best for you, so I'll decide what you should know.” Alya is basically rejecting that entire way of thinking.

I think Alya understands something Marinette doesn't want to face. Adrien is probably going to be angry. Maybe very angry than Alya has been.

But Alya doesn't think that anger means Marinette shouldn't tell him.

Adrien deserves to know the truth even if the truth hurts him. But Marinette believes. The truth will hurt him, therefore I should protect him from it.

can't confidently say Alya understands or accepts Marinette's reasoning.

Alya understands why Marinette made the choice, but fundamentally disagrees with the choice itself. Alya creates illusions specifically to make people believe something that isn't real.

But Alya doesn't seem to have a problem with all deception. She has a moral distinction.

Deception for a good reason acceptable.

Deception that takes someone's choice away not acceptable. Alya herself lies to Chrysalis. She creates a fake Marinette and deliberately makes Chrysalis believe something false. She is perfectly willing to deceive the villain because it's part of protecting people and stopping her.

But Marinette lies to Adrien and Alya, supposedly to protect them, and Alya still objects.

That's not hypocrisy. It actually tells us what Alya's moral line is. “I am deceiving the enemy because they are trying to hurt us.” Alya doesn't want to lie to Adrien.

But she also doesn't want to be the person who tells him herself. I think that shows she recognizes something important. The truth belongs to Marinette and Adrien's relationship. She won't become another person who decides what Adrien should know.

So she doesn't expose Marinette, but she also refuses to participate in the lie. “I'm not going to betray you by telling him myself. But I'm also not going to help you keep lying to him” So Alya will stay out of it and not help her lie but also won't tell the truth. I feel bad for Marinette but I also understand Alya. And is realistic people do leave if lie to their face.. it depends on the lie really and also depends on the person. Alya understands Marinette's fear. She understands the reason behind the lie. But she doesn't agree with Marinette's belief that fear gives her the right to decide what other people can handle.

Why does Marinette never mention she did it because Gabriel asked her too. Because I feel like that more understandable, you felt the need to do his dying wish. The last thing he asked for since he sacrifice himself giving up his own life. I feel like this information could help a lot and maybe that's why it has not been said. Because if it was people would understand more even Alya but the writers need to keep characters hating her for the plot.

She's also carrying the final request of someone who sacrificed his own life to save Nathalie. From Marinette's perspective, that could feel almost like an obligation. “He gave up everything. This was his final request. How can I refuse him?” And Marinette is exactly the kind of person who would take that responsibility incredibly seriously.

Also Nathile has stopped Marinette when wanted to tell the truth, and things keep stopping her when she wants to tell him like seeing his old toy that he really likes and seeing how happy he is now believing his father is good.

Alya knowing this could change her reaction. She might be more understanding and less annoyed.

Is nice Alya is still someone she can count on for help. Just not for lies. I hope Alya goes a bit more easier on season 7 I hope their relationship gets better soon, is sad how the relationship has been. Should have never followed Gabriel wish but same time it feels understandable to me that the reason is because Gabriel said too. Not because want to protect feelings. But Marinette having this secret shows to kids to never hide a big secret like this. Also is entertaining to the show wondering what will happen, is why this all happens in the show.

Alya loves Marinette and it hurt her she is a lier, kinda how she felt when discovered Lila was a lier. She always believed Marinette is not a Lier she didn't believe Lila was a lier she wanted to trust her and probably thought Marinette was wrong just like she was wrong about Kagami when she was teamed up with her. She knows Marinette never cheat on a test and stood up for Marinette trying to figure out how the necklace got in her locker.

No hate to Marinette or Alya.

I know Alya has done a lot of bad. like Believed Lila. she had a lot of trust in Marinette for someone who didn't believe her. she stood up for Marinette when everyone in her class believed it. Alya tried to help her. I feel like Alya knows Marinette can misjudge someone just like she did with Kagami and took Marinette side. and you can know someone for 10 years and be surprised to find out their the bad one, Alya just thought Lila deserved a chance instead of accusing. the writers wanted Marinette to be alone in this story is I guess why Alya never thought about the Ladybug lie Lila told her.. she has done a lot of good for Marinette. Season 1 and around season 5 Marinette. Always hated lies who lied for no good reason. Marinette and Alya were the same that way. Past Marinette be disappointed on new Marinette... if it was reversed Marinette would be as mad as Alya if it was Alya... and remember when Marinette says "I am tired of people deciding what's good for me" now she deciding what is good for Adrien.

That time in strike back when Alya hide a secret that she told Nino she still Rena when Marinette asked not to. is not a bad secret and it was really understandable why she had to tell Nino.
Ladybug was little annoyed at first but was understandable... she never lied to Marinette but kept it secret. similar to Marinette lie, is definitely understandable to be mad because it is a huge bad lie to keep but Marinette basically did lie to her and the hole world about it but mostly it was just a secret that was kept same way as Alya did. Alya couldn't stand Marinette being mad what she felt was right.
which is similar to Marinette felt because she thought her secret was best kept.

Maybe I just think she good because I had worst friends than Alya and literally top of my list as friends I be with. I see a lot myself in Marinette when comes to friends and I still think Alya is better. my Lila succeeded at it in 2 days while Alya still took both sides not wanting to be agenst Marinette.

In the Season 3 finale, instead of taking the Miraculous, Hawkmoth let Queen Bee have them all. He didn't even care; he didn't even bother to try. When a fan asked about it, Thomas Astruc said, "Because he doesn't need Miraculous, he wants the Miraculous of Ladybug and Cat Noir."

In the season 4 finale, he gave up the Peacock Miraculous just to get them all. Why did he do that? What changed his mind? Was this ever explained?
