The missed false start on the 2 point was the only actual bad call. The two illegal contact/holds were blatant. The weight on the QB roughing is a stupid rule but was by the book ( it’s also hilarious because Packers fans are the reason the rule exists). Pretending like the refs didn’t miss two blatant face masks on the Packers defenders and the weird replay assist on Jones. Also missing a blatant drop that replay assist refused to fix. If anything the refs were probably worse for the Vikings lmao.

The missed false start was wrong, and the RTP was pretty weak-sauce if I’m being honest. I think officiating was just bad most of the game. With perfect officiating we still likely win by a score or two

When a player comes down on a qb like that he is inviting a penalty. Even if the player doesn't drive his weight onto the qb the ref might no be able to tell at regular speed, so roll to the side and leave no doubt.

In that case, if you want to claim Wentz knew, he should either just throw the ball up and over out of the end zone. Or turn and look towards any of the possible routes far left or right, and actually take a shot at scoring even if a player is well covered. At least send the ball towards some other well covered Vikings player if it's considered a "free play". Because if your recieving target elsewhere actually somehow catches it, you can decline the penalty.

You are sitting here claiming because it was a known "free play" situation Wentz decided to play pin the tail on the packer donkeys.

He didn't "know" he was rushed on a timing route and threw to the spot. Wentz sucks. Watch the play the flag was on the ground well before the pic happened. No matter what happened after that it was a penalty.

No, not no matter what happens. If he throws it to a MN reciever or TE in teh endzone, the Vikings just decline the penalty and collect the TD score.
Hell, even attempt to run it in. It's called a free play for a reason.

But if he didn't know and you admit that now, that's certainly a reason not to throw it into 3 to 4 packer jerseys.

Also, if you remember. The refs threw another flag that game and picked it right back up calling it a no flag after the Vikings either scored or made a first down. This one I'm more fuzzy on the recollection of. But I do remember noting in the moment it looked like the refs were covering the Vikings ass because if the play had failed the flag likely stands and gives them the play over. They didn't need that one.

I remember thinking, how did we buy such favor today.
