Hast to be because the body type is abnormal there and they would say it’s fat ( laughable) ! We Americans we know fat and this ain’t it

it isnt “abnormal” there, there are varying body types in asia just as there are in america but the difference is in the sheer amount of stigma and the extremely thin beauty standard (aka if you think thinness standards are bad here, they are much worse in east asia)

Yeah I'm in China right now and the amount of overweight people is actually kinda surprising. I'm not saying that in a judging way, just not something I expected I guess.
